40:21 My child’s father is very active in her life. He picks her up from daycare twice a week and gets her every weekend. We split expenses for clothing 50/50 and daycare is split 50/50 as well. HOWEVER, he does still pay child support. Those funds go toward any extra things she needs. For example, if she leaves to spend the week with an aunt or cousin I send her card with her to support anything she may need while she’s away. I even opened up her a savings account and deposit a monthly amount close to or matching her child support payment. I try to make it as fair as possible. And I did put him on child support after we broke up because I wasn’t sure what his behavior would be once I left. Once I saw he was still going to be a dad I evened everything up.

To the young man asking the last question about not being ready for a 2nd child and your girl willing to leave you for it. Don't cave on what you feel is right. At 24 I'm guessing you're not where you want to be financially. I guarantee you if you have that child, the stress and financial hardship will break your relationship with the mother. The fact that she's willing to just walk over that speaks volumes about her.

Kids will always remember the way you made them feel, never the the dollar amount any parent spent. It’s very true that the worst father ( I can speak from my experience ONLY) definitely had it easy. At least my dad did. Women & men just got to be selective with who they procreate with.

I don’t agree with child support for an active father. However, he is dead ass wrong abandoning his children for their mother’s actions. Disgusting if you can abandon your child over ANYTHING including child support. There’s nothing to justify. This is where he should be held accountable not make excuses for dismissing his responsibilities.

Listening to child support section is a little cringe. I'm trying to be understanding but all those bills the father has the mother has plus the child's expenses. Raising a child is expensive as hell and if more men did it alone they would fully understand ain't nobody out here getting rich off child support. The slot machine/wheel of fortune reference was so well said. So many women are afraid to leave their situation bc they don’t want the next woman to reap the hard word work she put into the man she’s with. I understand that feeling first hand. But often times, it’s best for us to cut our losses and move on. No matter how much it hurts.

31:25 Smuv was right, taxes work in brackets, I assume Trill is 80+ a year, that’s where he’s getting his number from. Someone around 40 year is more like 20% of your gross pay. So that father is still mad he’s gotta figure out how to make that money stretch regardless of the bracket though. That extra 10% probably still won’t help that much but, every dollar count though.

I love y’all but the child support debate is just all over the place. Y’all broke down the amount for the father but didn’t even mention what the mother may be making while supporting your child full time. More than likely she’s not making that much either and still has to pay for food, clothes, daycare, gas, housing, etc. Some men do sadly have to pay an abnormal unfair amount of money but MOST men paying 250-500 a month… that’s not that much money. The real debate should be people having unprotected sex when they know they can’t afford to be parents. Why is the dad the only one that gets to be “active” without coming out of pocket. Now what is fair is a 50/50 custody split. No child support … equal time … a win win.

I dont know about rekindling it. But ya'll communication wasnt insync enough. I'm like that too...but i know now not to even deal with a woman that doesnt communicate effectively. As far as how she wants to communicate the next day instead of immediately...Krew was just talking about that with those ladies. Those ladies with that other podcast asked why do guys do that...but apparently me and you are guys that communicate that way. And I know a lot of women that communicate like that. It's not a man or woman thing. It's just how some people are. We all have our different reasons for why we do it the way we do...and along with how we are as a person. I rather talk about it immediately...so it doesnt fester. There logic is that if they talk about it immediately, they will be too emotional in that way....so they feel that they may say something that they dont wanna say then...so they rather wait a day or 2 when they calm down...so they can talk about it in a better less emotionally charged way. So we are all different in that way. It is what it is. I'm now thinking that I need to get a lady that communicates and argues on my level...so it doesnt irk me soooo much.

B.Simone was wrong it's the same as a man throwing her abortion in her face nobody is perfect we all sin. But cheating in general is wrong let's not act like it doesn't take a mental toll on your partner and if you ever been cheated on men or women than you know it's not easy to trust that person and you no longer respect that person the same so if you ok with your partner feeling like that and still expect them to somehow s try to be a good wife or husband than just think twice alot of men wonder why their wives no longer are attracted to them sexless marriage etc if you don't go to therapy to fix your relationship it's going to be a slow decline after infidelity.

She didn't say is not a great leader , i think she said a great man or husband .. I need to agree with the ladies on this one.. Because if i got options and choices why would i go and find a wife and have kids on top of it .. If you spoken to your wife about using your options and she agreed that's a different story . What kind of image are you projecting and showing to your kids who might be a boy and a girl but still have a negative effects on them. You son growing up will think he can treats women how ever he wants and your daughter on they other side would think her boyfriend , man can cheats on her and treats her like craps and it's normal because daddy is doing it to mom or even mom ..

Greatness encompasses discipline in alllll areas of life..You don’t win #1 at the triathlon being great at some. The characteristics of a great leader are integrity, delegation, communication, self awareness, gratitude, learning agility, influence, and empathy. If your character is flawed in any of these that means you are not a great leader. I would say MLK was a great visionary.

I agree with much of what has been said and these are primarily opinions but that intial conversation surrounding MLK I admit I disagree with wholeheartedly. I personally can not attest to knowing whether MLK was unfaithful to his wife and furthermore am not willing to attest that she lied for him. I do know that women will lie to protect the legacy of their men at times but I do not know what she heard in the alleged tapes and whether she was being honest when she said she did not recognize the voice in those tapes. What I know as fact is that the government created agency has been documented as falsely accusing black male and female leaders alike of anything that would discredit them to black people. We see this time and again in history with released documents. The movie "Judas and the black messiah" illustrates this exact issue. I commend you brothers for taking on difficult topics. Please continue and be blessed ... Press forward.

I don’t understand why men generally complain about the family court system. Men set up the laws and structure of the family court system. Men created a system that disadvantages them. Then, they complain when women use it. Obviously, nonwhite folx had little role in fomenting these systems. However, I’d love to hear more men complain about the “logical, higher reasoning” males who created laws and policies that disadvantages men.

Silly women need to get out of their feelings! Martin Luther King did a great thing! His purpose and sacrifice has been a blessing to the world and his moments of weakness does not take away from that! Great does not mean perfect! There is no such thing as a PERFECT MAN! There is no such thing as a PERFECT human being! A man with a good heart is good but not perfect but the man with a rotten heart is just rotten period!

Yup! I’m mad at you O! Lol. Y’all talk about men being so logical but everything seems to boil down to decision making on feelings. Lol. “ You know how men are” lol. Women can wear what they want and they may not get the man they want as well. But to ever justify a disrespectful and yes unwarranted advance is never ok. If you have the distinction to approach women differently based on what they’re wearing whether in a club or not. You have the ability to come correct or not at all. If you in the gym wit your shirt off and a dude comes up to you and says wassup, depending on how he says it you’ll feel away.

SMH! This whole topic went COMPLETELY Over Your Head ma. The point we were trying to make is how us guys automatically put you in a box upon looking at you. How you dress, carry yourself, where you stand, how you stand around, etc. Basically, we can tell if you may be regular....or doing something thirsting for attention. And when it comes across as thirsting for attention...we look at you as that....we automatically say nah...she dont seem like wifey material. It just is what it is. Now we are not saying that it's a guarantee that you are that way. Hell, twerking we see in that way. But we know that some women just do it for fun. But most dont....so we can look at women that twerk in the place...especially if it's done in front of a group of people...we are gonna put you in that category. It is what it is.

Weird argument, it’s like you going to an interview for a good job and you don’t dress the part, yes people are going to judge and treat you accordingly, it’s reality, like Dave Chappelle said “ you may not be a whore, but you’re wearing a whores uniform”
@sarahj4598
@sarahj4598 2 жыл бұрын
@@jayc5756 it appears my response went over your head. I said women may not get chosen based off of what they wear but it’s still their choice just like it’s a man’s choice as to how he approaches a woman. Categorizing people without imposing is not the issue. When you use your perception to violate others is.
