Source played this comeback perfectly to prevent toxic commenters reaching into their cliche quiver of hate. "Can't sing"- talk/sing with strong raps. "Inappropriate choreo" - Choreo fits the base concept to perfection. "Appropriation of cultures/other artists"-They brought in and put House of Juicy Couture front and center as the face of ballroom vogue. This comeback was meticulous and deliberate and ti allowed all members to shine. Sakura's duckwalk as an Otaku Bestie was brilliant.

You're so right. I just hope Source would've care for the members like that in the Coachella gig planning. The company's A&R should play into the strengths of its artists, and in "CRAZY" they did it so so well, so maybe there's a chance of them reverting the criticism around them (cannot talk about the hate, because that comes from absurdity and not from reason).
@muriax2 ай бұрын
I love the mixture of phonk music and voguing, le sserafim never fail with concepts.
@4EVERWITHBTS2 ай бұрын
I think the “CRAZY” concept is not just about being crazy, dressing crazy or acting crazy. Of course the music video and concept is quite quirky but the main concept & meaning behind CRAZY is loving something so much that it drives you crazy, not holding back your excitement/love for something bc that can also make you crazy. It’s just about putting your brain on 0 and unapologetically loving something/doing something you love beyond sanity. I felt like in this MV and with this song and the whole EP the girls were just having fun. This concept is perfect for them and it feels like we’ve finally seen the first petals bloom of the beautiful flower that is LE SSERAFIM.
@kpopahjussi2 ай бұрын
Le Sserafim is still a young group with so many opportunities and options to follow up on ahead of them. This video has unexpected visuals; I love it when a group can do that. Musically it is an excellent club beat so it will live for a long time. Overall a fun choice for them.

They already get hit by the lighting in the trailer. The Yunjin cut to the choreo is cut on Yunjin pointing. Also the crazy doesn’t mean they’re actually crazy the meaning is that if loving and following what you want to do so much makes you crazy then so be it. So the crazy aren’t actually crazy

The electricity symbolism is there if you squint.Their touch is one million volt. The scenes include Chaewon being a satellite dish in a bathouse, Sakura being with lamps in an aquarium, and all the girls together underwater. I think they themselves are the toaster thrown in a bath. Their touch is like Pikachu, after all. That part you pointed out, they're doing a long point, like they're touching something. I'm just guessing here though.

I agree with the idea that its more surreal than crazy. The way I see it is Le Sserafim's visual brand since the start has been very modern, cool & sleek/commercial (?) (I think of the visuals for Fearless as oppossed to their more recent releases) and this version is of crazy is more of the "cool/party girl crazy", like high fashion almost or Kate Moss at grungey party. Still would've hoped they'd go a little stronger with it though, I think it was nailed perfectly in the concept photos for example.
@alix42562 ай бұрын
Now having seen their performace video, I definitely think they leaned in more to the genre styling and girly appeal over the "crazy" concept. Not bad, just unexpected.

Right now, in Korea, LE SSERAFIM is receiving harsher criticism than they deserve, especially with talks of other groups' debuts going around. Some KZbinrs are even jumping on the bandwagon, using this opportunity to gain popularity by attacking LE SSERAFIM. They are not a group that deserves this kind of treatment. We need the help of FEARNOTs around the world, and even those who aren’t FEARNOTs. Please spread more love for them. We FEARNOTs believe that, in the end, love is stronger. We believe in LE SSERAFIM, and we believe in love.

I think the reason why they didn't add the Lighting effect was because they already did it in their teasers of which storyline from the last ep was Crazy into them Chasing Lighting which will be the next Eps of them either catching the lightning but someone theorized that they already have been sapped by lightning so it basically static electricity coming from them messing up the video. The lighting effect also reminds me of the whip that is usually really popular sample in house music that's probably why they reference Beyoncé in 1-800-Hot-n-Fun. Also the Little John What is just so iconic and fits the overall aesthetic that the downbeat should stop there for dramatic effect.

I work at a medical clinic, and it's end of the month and as the biller of the office end of the month is honestly the hardest day but with this mini album and the attitude it exudes plus the lovely last song has gotten me through the day.
