“Kung Fu” - CW’s first Asian-led series - premieres TONIGHT, so we had the cast (Olivia Liang, Jon Prasida, Shannon Dang, Eddie Liu, Gavin Stenhouse, and Tony Chung) play a game of "Who’s Who." We found out Olivia has a savant-like obsession with chips, Shannon is the queen of coordinating dinner parties, and Eddie will tell you “no,” in the nicest way possible. I love this cast and this Series they did a great Job, they completely made this new and refreshing without doing anything to the original which I feel doesn't even remotely come close. This an entirely different and unique story over the original series and stands alone to me. What a great cast and Shannon is just pure Sunshine and Stunning, Olivia really owns the role. Jon is great but I feel they need to build more into his character it seems limited but he does great with what they wrote for him. I cannot wait for Season 2 and I hope Nicky goes a bit more Vigilante this time and perhaps opens up her own School or such to keep the tradition going. Yvonne did such a great Job I hope we will see her return and maybe she finds peace, teams up with Nicky and together they clean up the town ;) I know that's asking a lot but I can't help it, Zhilan has just enough wrecklessness in her soul to do good and still get into a bit of trouble in the process making for some good story lines and dialog between Her and Nicky. Besides I think Nicky and the gang will need Zhilan if Tan starts wreaking Havok as I suspect he will. Keep it up all you're doing an Amazing job! Shannon stay Beautiful and Querky, that along with being brilliantly wicked smart is so endearing.

Yvonne is definitely the one furthest from her character. She's supposed to be an really good martial artist, and right off the bat you can tell she doesn't even have fake martial art skills that you could use to fake moves, not even dancing, gymastics, nor even basketball.

You guys have to think about it the o.g cast to the 90's continuation of the show didn't have so much of Asian cast so this for me is great to see an all Asian cast as it should be the o.g one Bruce Lee was trying to get that main role so to make that leap and show that Asians can play the main role of the show. Even though you guy don't think this any new idea it is. It's different from the o.g and the continuation 90's. From the o.g and the continuation 90's they were not going after any artifacts or any ancient weapons out there with a story to tell of the history behind it so we can learn about it. And what makes this not stereotypical that is a female lead not a male lead empowering more women especially Asian women to take more of the lead roles from this generation of Asian women. So this is in its own right is original not a remake.
