Marksman Gloves are, generally, effective enough to reduce flinch. Since gloves aren't the best, it's actually best to just use them in the one instance they make sense. Frees up an attachment slot to get a bit more out of this gun. Not that it needs too much help since it's really good. I use the extra slot to buff sprint to fire time or ADS.

This is my “go to gun” when I’m in need. Every call of duty I have a safe gun I feel most comfortable with if I’m having a bad game I’ll pull it out and hope I can turn things around. This is it. This was the first gun I really used in this game, it’s done me good ever since. Solid piece of equipment! 9/10 for me.

Tip for Marksman Rifles: Don't be shy in equipping zoom optics (even high zoom ones) when playing on medium/large maps. Using reflex/iron sights limits a lot this category of guns potential.

The Chrios Holo is the best magnified optic without scope glint. There doesn't seem to be anything else like it for MW3, and MW2 optics just suck in this game

@Chuckvsfrank1232 I personally don't use high zoom optics but I've seen a lot of other players have success doing it. Highest I usually go on DMRs is a VLK 4x or Schlager 3.4x. Even the Corio Eagle 2.5x gives you a good advantage over people running reflex or irons.

It isn't just the KVD. The whole Marksman class of rifles is good in this game. This is the first COD where I'm not an AR primary. Battle Rifles and Marksman Rifles are the way to go.

This was a fun gun to do the camos for. 1 tap to the head is very powerful in the slower TTK cods. All the MR's are quite good except the mcw 6.8, which doesn't have much going for it.

I've been levelling the KD in Invasion (the game mode) and absolutely love it. In fact, I'm generally impressed with the Marksmen rifles in MW3. If I had better aim I don't know if I'd use much else, especially on maps like Wasteland and Estate. They've done nicely with marksmen and assault rifles. I'll try out your builds soon. As a PC player I don’t even have to build for idle sway since holding breath on PC is significantly easier than on console. So I can just kit this thing out for speed ignoring recoil, and keeping idle sway neutral relatively (still can’t let it get too bad)

With the 3rd build, I don’t find it worth having a ADS time that’s faster than your sprint out time because coming out of a sprint causes your ADS time to be whichever value is the highest

it depends on how you play. You can adjust to not sprinting as much, especially if you're playing more defensive/focusing on map control and so aren't sprinting around really. You can even have another trustworthy weapon like dual pistols for if you get caught running (at least at close range) Even if you are running around, you can sometimes predict where enemies will be and when they might be rounding corners, so you can stop sprinting early. It's risky, but it can pay off As to "why not just be adsed then and not worry about improving ads speed", being less zoomed out gives you way more awareness and movement, and you'll also be able to adjust more to surprises

I haven't used it in Multiplayer yet, but in Zombies I was loving that it had zero recoil and it was amazing for headshots, been grinding to get that Zombie Operator and Camos so only have played maybe 20 hours of Multiplayer but when I do hop back over to Multiplayer I'm definitely going to use it I don't always use Marksman Rifles because I can't press the trigger very fast but with the rate of fire on this gun it really doesn't matter that much

Hey Ace, I love your videos, but one thing that’s always driven me nuts is when you say “maximum damage range”. To my ears and with my training that usually means the farthest point, not the closest in marksmanship. An example being; the real life M-16 has a maximum effective range of 550 meters or 500 meters for the M4 on a point target. HOWEVER, I do understand you mean ‘maximum damage is inflicted at said/this range.’ Like I said this is mostly on me but I know others (especially veterans and avid and above shooters) must think the same way.
