First off, I want to have my picture taken with Caleb! Secondly, THAT.WAS.AMAZING! I have to admit, I was holding my breath the whole time Marc was driving around the track, and I was right there with Trish saying, “No banking!” Yikes! It was so awesome hearing the horn on the race track! However I couldn’t help but imagine what those lovely ladies in South Carolina were thinking watch their bus go around the track at NASCAR! Great episode! We camped at Watkins Glenn, NY on a race weekend and it was awesome! At 8am they came over the loudspeakers “GOOD MORNING WATKINS GLENN”, we drove our Chevy 250 on the track and I laughed and screamed for my husband to slow down the whole time. I wasn’t sure about “The Bird” but I think this will be a cool summer. Have fun and safe travels!

Salsas in Downtown Asheville is a must…….A Caribbean/Mexican explosion of flavor and textures that I think you guys will love. ATL is our home racetrack! Y'all are where the old grandstands used to be. Kara and Nate just went to Nashville and had a great experience too. Glad you enjoyed our humble area of the country! Your Bird was likely constructed about two hours away in Fort Valley GA at the Blue Bird Plant.

When I first move to VA there was a Nascar race in FEB, I asked my new coworker that had season tickets on turn 3, how I could get some tickets to the race and was told there was no way there sold out a year ahead of time. But he took me out to the track at lunch time to check it out. I see a trailer that has a huge sign on it saying "Tickets" I walk in and they told me all they had was blocks of tickets of 4 or 7 that had not been paid for. I bought a block of 4. My tickets where for row 5 right on the start, finish line! My son worked for Hooters so all the lovely lady's came to sit around me. I got free pit passes, free Tee shirts, it was a great day!

Good thing you had bought those new tires. I read on the net someone thought that there was a shortcut going thru the racetrack. Anyway it looked fun. The hill climb into the CG was interesting, but the staff was soooo friendly. We stayed there a couple years ago on our way to Florida from northern Kentucky. I was literaly jumping on my bed.....screaming and clapping along with you while you were on the track!! Lol!!! Laughed my butt off.....man that was fun!! You guys are headed right past our vacation home in Murphy, NC. I only wish I had the room to park the bird at our yard...I would invite you to use the cabin!! Hiawasse is a lovely town.....as is Ashville. Word of warning Trish.....the Biltmore House takes about three hours to see. But you, who loves history, will be astonished by it. Great episode. You guys are in Michigan often it seems and the Nascar thing had your interest so the next time you make it here you should look me up and I may be able to get you some pretty cool tours. See, I work for Roush as in Racing. We are in Livonia and Jack has his museum here along with alot of really cool manufacturing facilities, airplane hangar, ect. This had to be my favorite video yet. That was soo cool. I grew up racing Karts on some big tracks like Michigan International , Road Atlanta and Phoenix international to name just a few. I don’t care what you are driving on a racetrack it’s cool. I was thinking about camping at the NASCAR race here in Phoenix but they are all sold out. Maybe next year.

What a fun episode to watch. I actually watched it twice. Looking forward to a review of Hiawassee campground. We camped just up the road in Ocoee and went white water rafting from the campground called Adventures Unlimited. Highly recommend this campground and the fun of white water rafting. Their staff was awesome too! I know you will love the Biltmore House.
