Some great figures here. I only got the Mattel retros in 2022 so my list wouldn't be interesting. I do have NYCC Sabu and Danhausen coming so my collection should improve. But Zombie made some great figures. Matt Cardona is excellent as is Sabu. But my admiring from a far favorite is Giant Haystacks. Incredible figure. Big Daddy is really good too.

Offhand, my list: Jeff Jarrett, Dino Bravo, Earl Hebner, Sabu...I keep it to the late 80s - mid 90s era, and try as I might I couldn't get myself to like Mattel's Retro figures. I'm all-in on Zombie Sailor Toys, and hopefully also Chella. Both companies' first few series flew completely over my radar, but I did catch ZST's series 2 preorder, and he was nice enough to let me buy a couple of series 1 figures from him directly. Looking forward to what both will continue to offer! My new self-challenge is to collect every wrestler from the 1990 Royal Rumble, in their 1990 Royal Rumble attire, or for each wrestler the closest available attire (between Hasbro originals, ZST, Chella, and customs if I'm up for it).

I didn't know they made a retro dino bravo that would be good for the 1990 collection he can go with earthquake if your able to get the tag titles for the Hart foundation that would be sick

For me, The Matt Cardona was my favorite retro of 2022. I think they did a great job on it.🤙🤙🤙

I agree Mattel is doing the best followed by Zombie. If H&F was cheaper watch out! I'm going to be a completist with Mattel, maybe Zombie, & others just pick up those that never came out like Haku. Hayabusa, Dynamite Variant and Anvil are the only ones I've picked up. Chella and Zombie look to be doing good things in 2023. That Powers of Pain 2 pack is my most anticipated unless Zombie makes an announcement regarding his Road Warriors 2 pack.

We seem to have very similar playing opinions ad kids. I feel like you’re the only person I’ve ever heard say you didn’t mind hasbro figures in hats or Piper in his kilt etc. i also felt the same way about needing a ref. Even I remember my parents got me the bca ref I really didn’t have much interest in it and rarely included it when I was playing with my figs.

Holy lord, I am beginning to think that the Danhausen I ordered over a year ago is just never going to arrive 😖. Really sucks, those figures look so sick. I'd love to collect them all. But, the fact that they hold our money for as long as they do with little to no updates is madness. Customer service is near non existent :(

Definitely too many retros I thought I would never say that and the fact they take literally years to arrive is even worst. As I’m a wwf fan circa 1985 to 2002 I only get the figures of wrestlers from these years. So these Dan hausen or gage Or cardona have no idea who they are and will not be getting them or anyone I don’t know.
