By chance, earlier today, whilst on one of my volunteering days at the Buckinghamshire Railway Centre, we got to discussing trams in Central London and the fact that they were not allowed the use of overhead catenary for the electrical power. Instead, they used a pick-up arrangement buried deep in the road, midway between the rails - something I'd never heard of. Is this what is depicted in the tramway modelled on the Copenhagen Fields layout?

Great to see the layout working now (just read about in the Railway Modeller) and hearing such positive news about younger members getting into the hobby, a really good interview. If you have any clips of the rear staging that would be nice and extremely informative to see so can appreciate how it all fits together. It’s a critical part of a complex layout like this and one folk unfortunately gloss over or omit in their videos and articles. Many thanks for posting, best regards Stephen

Hi Tom, I bought the n gauge model a few weeks ago, the quality of the 3d printing is incredible! Thanks for your video, it really helps with painting the model, and also getting the context right, i did not realise just how close the railway was to the back of the house! i will try to do justice to the best 3d printed model i have yet bought! Its going to be next door to the inoxion 3d printed Crooked House pub on my little layout, i think there are a few subsidence issues!
