Marylda the lonely millionaires and the laird, Rowan, are now in Scotland where Rowan lives in castle Cloud - his Grandmother Georgina met Marylda and she gets her first impression of Georgina and Cloud the castle....Rowan was alone with Georgina who tells him about her love for Hector. Marylda met Janet, who had expected to become Rowans wife....She sees the ghost of Emilie again on a walk...she almost drowned and is recovering...She is becoming aware of her connection with Emilie....
Grandmother confides in Rowan about the ghost of Emilie... and of Hector her husband, Emilie had left him....Marylda has finally talked to Rowan about her past and her wealth.... more about the story of Emily who turns out to have been related to Marylda........She has now burned the remains of the killed Emilie.... She confided in Rowan and they are now trying to find out what happened to Hector who had killed Emilie...The story of the ghosts continues...
