The reality is Caruso hasn’t changed much with the bulls since this lakers championship and he was an absolute perfect asset for lebron James, javale McGee is a really legit center nowadays, Anthony Davis was healthy, Caldwell pope and green behind the arc. It’s obvious this lakers team was unstoppable, the chemistry and the roles they played were the best period.

The reason why it doesn’t get its credit is because the season was cut short, cutting out potential events and setting the lakers up. Even if the heat, warriors, or etc won, it still wouldn’t get credit since it was a season where the best parts were cut out and instead started into the main event without some grit and emotion. Like a rookie could’ve gone crazy at a stretch of games or some players would be injured that would make a team struggle.
