He’s able to still be so productive because he’s arguably the greatest floor general and facilitator ever. But he was physically unable to be the full LeBron last year, and it was blatant. The last couple months, he’s been manically bullying his way to basket. Not to mention he was horrific from 3 last year, in the regular and postseason, and this season he’s had his best 3 shooting year of his career. It ultimately likely won’t matter if they face Denver, but don’t get it twisted- he’s waaay more aggressive, efficient, and healthy than he was last year.

For the Lakers to have a chance against the Nuggets, the only way is to try these defensive match ups: Jokic: LeBron is the only one with smarts and body build to keep him away from the basket and read his passes. LeBron's rest time should go hand in hand with Jokic's. Gordon: Gordon is a bully under the basket. I'd try Hachimora on him (Prince as a backup). LeBron defending Gordon as usual would be the biggest mistake. Porter Jr: Vanderbilt's long arms can slow him down from the 3 Murray and Reggie Jackson: rotate Lakers point guards on them and wear them out - Reeves, Dinwiddie, D'Angelo & Vincent The main defensive task for AD (and Hayes and Wood as a backups) is rim protection and rebounding. Block those Murray and Jackson's floaters when they escape their primary defenders or at least force them to take more difficult shots. I hope Ham doesn't mess up as usual

It's wild how the Lakers seem to be following the same path as last year they finished strong in the second half, now have a chance to end in the 7th seed again. However, this time they have such a tough road ahead, you have the play in tomorrow, win and it's Denver, lose and it's Sac or GS. I said it before and I'll say it again Lakers when healthy and are playing their best defense and are fairly consistent on offense are the best team in the league hands down. I’m not saying Lakers will beat the Nuggets but I like our chances this year. Last season we didn’t have anyone that could play hard suffocating defense on Jamal Murray. So not only was Jokic killing us but Murray was destroying us as well. But now we have Gabe Vincent and Dinwiddle that can do that. At least 12 fouls between both of them to use on Murray to wear him out and have him fatigued. Last season We only had D’Lo who can’t guard a parked car and Schroeder who is undersized to guard Murray. At least if we can slow Murray down, now we can live with Jokic’s fire power.

Losing tonight would be a huge mistake, and the Lakers don't need to fear Denver. What may go overlooked is a lot of the games they've played against Denver were close. That means if we make some tweaks and adjustments' stay healthy, continue shooting the three ball well, lock down on defense, we can get a win. A few wins. 4 wins to be exact.

You know what I think for me the reason why Bron played so much elite defense towards this postseason run by the lakers, is that they haven't had any elite defender beside Jarred Vanderbilt who can do what Bron does, a swiss army knife. The question now is how about Rui, Prince, and Max Christie isn't all of them are 3 and D guys, they can also defend. Yes they can defend but not how Jarred Vanderbilt can give on the defensive end alone. Just imagine last year going up against the Warriors at Western Conference Semifinals, Vanderbilt just defender three to 4 guys in one possession or even in multiple plays done by the Warriors but Just Vanderbilt is such a contagious irritating havoc defender. He was so elite defensively. Jarred Vanderbilt current injury now prompted Lebron to take Vanderbilt's position last year. And because Lebron was already 38 years old and playing too elite defense will be too much for him, that will live other guys to do the load in scoring instead of him. And I think for me that will be the key if they want to be successful on this playoff run. Bron has a high basketball IQ and Brons ability to reading defenses and breaking down defensive scheme on other opponent and using his IQ to counter that defensive scheme will be an another factor if Bron will be the Jarred Vanderbilt on the Lakers.

I think it's pretty unlikely since we have the Nuggets in the way. Maybe we can pull it off with Murray playing through an injury or something or if we really kick it into high gear AND have Vando back.

I want Denver in first round. BUT ham has to know when DLO is NOT IT. Don’t let him outshoot an early slump. I say make him come off bench and get Gabe,Spencer or even vando to gaurd Murray. Lineup should be Gabe,Reaves,rui,Bron,AD Bench -Dlo,Dinwiddie, with whoever you want for 3,4,5 spots mainly stagger AD and bron make sure either one is on court at all times

I think DLO most DEFINITELY wants a rematch against the Nuggets, irrespective of when it happens. The shame of what Denver did to him last season would have been burning a fire in his belly all season, a fire that can only be doused, ironically, by him SCORCHING the Nuggets this post-season! And I hope that match-up happens, cos I think we're gonna see Playoff DLO (aka Rondo Mach II!) haha. CAN'T WAIT! ps I'd rather that be the Conference Finals for a different reason tho, because then it's a TRUE rematch, and of much more import. Pretty sure Adam Silver would like that one too lol.
