Thomas Tallis composed 'The Lamentations of Jeremiah' in the 1560s. Written for 5 voice parts, it takes as the text, the first 5 verses of the book of Lamentations. Here, I have arranged it to be played with 5 violin parts.

'The Lamentaions of Jeremiah' Part 1 & 2...It feels so sad/calm , and like the real Jeremiah from the Bible.

Nice. Esp as you controlled the vibrato, only letting it leak a little during the stressful sections. I have been lucky to sing this a few times, with Men ATB. Its a very moving work. Yet seems not to be known or accepted by the majority of the classical music world, esp those in the mail-stream classical genre. Your version captures the angst, but does not fall into the trap of playing in a 1920s style.
