Fantastic sound of those Merlins,the biggest memories I have of those uncertain times. Very reassuring to hear those engines overhead.

Whoops! Guess that would've concentrated the mind a bit. At least the feathering pump (?) didn't runaway. Is it an SOP to check them in the air, rather than on the ground? Or do you do both?
