Great Job Angelina!. Tell everyone what the Serbs did to the poor innocent people,, yes the Bosnians later on did kill Serbian people too , but only after the Serbs killed and raped the women and children, Serbs killed about 8,000 people in 2-3 days while the Bosnian soldiers later on only killed about 800 people and then the Serbian people start to cry and say how bad we are!! The Serbs killed about 8,00 in only 3 days.At least 100,000 people killed and over two million displaced

Angelina, in addition to reading books and watching several movies about Bosnia (1992-1995) also asked actors to help her understand and portray the conflict. I doubt that someone who is a humanitarian and volunteers as a UN good will ambassador would use propaganda in order to tell a story.

Everybody has his own side of the story...and that is PERFECTLY fine. The movie being biased...that's also perfectly fine. BUT! what really gets on my nerves IS THE HYPOCRISY! Hollywood has made a living from making movies that directly SPIT on Russian, Serbian and Slavic people in general, yet nobody complains too much! "Its all ok, no hard feelings!". Some of the Bosniaks also were supporting the Yugoslavian idea and some Serbs were Cetniks which is against it. And what I tried to say above is Cetniks who caused to war (in my opinion) was not the part of the Serbs who was supporting the Yugoslavian idea. So people who blamed in this movie were Cetniks. So movie is not agains the Slavic people or something. And as a person who misses Yugoslavia and hates all those conflicts, this movie didn't disturb me.

@forugh3 There was few that I know of, I don't remember the names, I only know that one was related to the Moon Landing Hoax, and the other was a regular non-documentary movie where 2 Russian brothers win the case against Americans which are portrayed as arrogant and evil in the movie...They happened to be black people, maybe that's why they sued it, I don't know. Russian and even Serbian newspaper reported an article about how they sued script writers of some of those movies.

Well I am not talking about this movie particularly...I am talking about american propaganda in general. The big problem with your statement is that Serbians ALWAYS supported the Yugoslavian idea and the harmony between Slavic people...however some Bosniaks were against it. As for which soldiers attacked first and what exactly happened on the battlefield I don't know nor anyone can, but the fact is that you can't blame whole Bosnia/Serbia because of a small bunch of soldiers.

I'll agree to disagree. But keep in mind, everything you're saying (except sex. assault) was also done to Serbs not only in '91 but also in '99 by the KLA. And also, like I said before, people that were claimed dead are being found alive today living well in the EU and N. America. Seems to me like Bosnia is the only one that has anything to gain from lying about a tragedy....the more they lie, the worse Serbs look, the more they receive international money.

One can feel that this movie was translated from English, because it just doesn't have the spirit or energy of Bosnian or Serbian dialect. Angelina should first see some ex-yugo production to fell what was all about. I think that she managed to show the war but missed the humor, that is so tipical for Bosnians and that helped them trough. She should use an extra minute for the end. I'd give her a B grade for it. I wan't say anything about Serbs. People should start to learn how to forgive!

Suffice it to say that the Serbian people were chosen last year for new president, declared chetnik. For those who do not know, the Chetniks were Serbian butchers. They forced from end of 19th century to end of the 2nd WW2 all non-Serbs to declare as Serbian or to be slaughtered. btw, Serbia before 2nd ww had 45% of decleared Vlaji or Vlahi (ortodox Romanian) and in Montenegro after 2nd ww there was only 3% of decleared Serbian. It only emphasised the guilt of "one of the sides involved" which is a tremendous mistake. "Whose fault it is/was?" is a wrong question to ask. "What can we do to live TOGETHER, NURTURE one another which ever nation/religion/color we are?" Ask yourself that. Ask the person next to you, ask your neighbour.
