There is no need to say more about caste in Ramayana. Wasn't Rama a person of a lower caste who killed a man because he did not do his work and did what a higher caste should have done? I last visited the site nearly 6 years ago when the Hinamandir was completed, the Mahamandir's foundation wasn't visible behind the tarped-over construction fence and the Brahma Kund was just a barebones, stone-ringed pond dominated by temperamental Canada geese. I can't wait to go back and see the finished complex!
