due to a rack failure earlier involving a cato Kong Killer earlier in the show, I didn't want to fire a bit of the finale. missing was 2x 24 shot fan racks of white strobe shells, and 8x 2.5" howling salute and 5 3" salutes
It turned out fine and no other racks were damaged by the cato but it was not worth pausing the show and risking getting close to see if the racks were safe. Its always sad when a show doesn't go to plan, but no one in the audience knew there was missing product in the finale. and the result was still excellent. later I will share some aftermath photos of the rack failure. it survived way better than I would have expected considering 1 Kong Killer failed in a fiberglass tube causing the other 1 to sympathetically fail at the same time. tube spacing was 1 inch OSB slats. the remainder of the rack battery was fine. and could have been safely fired, but it wasn't worth the risk. during the show it looked much worse than it was.
