Yes! Great over the top action silliness that doesn’t rake itself serious. It’s a fun movie filled with mostly obvious Easter eggs. I love it!

I liked the soundtrack better than the movie. I remember buying it well. It's got an awesome Megadeth song on it angry again and a great Alice in chains song. Great soundtrack,vanilla movie

Yep. The soundtrack _is_ pretty kick-ass. It works for all its points within the movie, and the CD is a great spin, track-for-track.

I LOVE this movie. Saw it in the theater and many times since. The soundtrack is superb and I still listen to it pretty regularly. That disc might be getting a spin on the way to work tomorrow now that it’s in my head!

I remember they put ads for this movie on a rocket for some reason. I remember seeing the movie in the theater and being disappointed. There was stuff that just didn't make any sense. It was a parody of action movies, but then there was also a cartoon cat in there for some reason.

I'm a little disappointed the second wave of figures never emerged. Maybe I would've nailed down a copy of Evil Eye Benedict, and scored myself a Whiskers figure (depicted in the 2nd commercial, but never produced. It may be up to me, to customize one! Vocal talent for Whiskers uncredited, but provided by Twins costar Danny DeVito). I notice Benedict is packaged with a Rottweiler, I'd like a few of those, with "beach-pyramid" stacking action! And I wouldn't mind a John Practice (F. Murray Abraham) figure, either.

I remember watching this film in theaters with my mom. I only saw this movie once and it's entertaining, but nothing amazing. I had the axe guy and used him as a villain for my Batman toys. Also, day eight of requesting Junkman to do a reaction video to Babes in Toyland 1986 or Star Wars Christmas special for a Junkman Christmas special.

I own the first four Jack Slater figures, Danny, and Ripper. Somehow, Evil Eye Benedict was either extremely short-packed, or at a certain point, discontinued, because I never found one. Ripper was definitely challenging to acquire, but worth it. He does come with a top hat, not pictured (because to operate his axe-swinging, it knocks his hat off on the upswing.) The Jack Slater in trenchcoat disguise bursts the coat and has him extend a badge and dangling handcuffs when his arms are outstretched. The one with the shreds in his red shirt has mechanism for throwing things, the included dumbbells and bundles of dynamite. Danny is well illustrated in the video. The line _does_ include Hamlet, his arm has a spring-loaded launcher for a stick-shaped 'missile', but its warhead is a skull, much like the trailer seen within the film. He is not packaged with an MP5 submachine gun, sadly. The last Jack has that yellow backpack with simulated cannons, which counterweight and draw up into firing position. The likeness to Arnold Schwarzenegger is superior to the Terminator figures of the same scale, which is surprising, because that line's endoskeleton robot is so well-tooled.

I had acquired the LAH pinball years ago. From then forward I tried to collect all things LAH. I finally acquired all the figures in their original packaging along with the cars and many loose figures. I have the 16-in talking Arnold too. My friends even find them for me. It's a fun obsession. Stay well.

I have the Hamlet Arnold. I found it in a thrift shop. It's still new on card in very good condition.... Personally, I liked the movie. I honestly feel it would have done way better had it not had to follow the juggernaut that was Jurassic Park ....

I thought the movie was okay back when it came out. I watched it again a few years ago. It hasn't aged well. The soundtrack still holds up.Some good hard rock a metal tunes.

..man i sure remember seeing this movie in the theatre as a kid! Time sure flies! I think the movie was given bad reviews...but hey it was made for kids who wanted to kick ass! There was no way to compete with Jurassic Park...that was movie magic!

Why did Universal ever think it was a good idea to open this one week after its own Jurassic Park? I actually enjoyed the film. It's no masterpiece, and it could have been better, but the meta plot and parodies are pretty entertaining. Certainly not nearly as bad as its ignominious box office or critical reputation.

And, there was a huge, splashy gala opening in Times Square, if I remember correctly. With a big effigy of Arnold (Jack) and banners and stuff. Kind of sad that Jurassic Park trounced this, it _might_ have actually taken off better, had that timing not occurred.

The toys were a big loss because due to political pressure on the film and toys by anti gun groups the toys were changed last minute to remove gun accessories

The toyline was unintentionally meta, as in it was a parody toyline making fun of the Jack Slater franchise. It's a fun joke, and terrible toyline. And Junkman, Skull Action Slater WAS Hamlet Slater.
