The Last Avengers Story: A Look Back At An Overlooked Avengers Gem

The Last Avengers Story was published by Marvel in 1995. It took me awhile to get my hands on a copy of the book though I was interested in it as soon as I saw it in a mail order sale. It's kind of an awesome tale but somehow it's missing my favorite Avenger, Iron Man. All can be forgiven though considering it has appearances of several great characters and a focus on Hank Pym, the original Ant Man.

Indeed. That sounds like the cream of the crop…well if you discount the inclusion of Master Pandemonium in some of those issues. Do you have more than Punisher nowadays?

Much like ruins it’s a story that’s better of as just a two-parter but even at the end you want to know more of what’s next. I sincerely wanted to know what captain America did after saving, what happened to iron man, the space heroes, was “best ultron” ultron-15 still getting drunk in a cowboy bar making him last bot standing, and most importantly of all is this still the best ending most versions of Spider-Man can hope for?
