Hey Joe, just a quick response on the comment “for the first time ever on a Pioneer controller-only” you have USB C”. First Pioneer DJ controller to have it was actually the DDJ-FLX4 (it actually has two; one for data the other for power with pass through). And first Pioneer DJ device to have it was the DJM-S5 (also had two, one for power, one for data). The FLX10 however is the first “controller to implement dual computer, although the DJM-A9 weeks prior was the first device to do it with USB C. Also, right before the FLX10 came out, the OPUS-QUAD all-in-one also features type C computer connectivity when used as a controller. So the DDJ-FLX10, is the 5th Pioneer DJ device to implement USB type C. 🙂

Joe, I appreciate that you took the time to review it and it wasn’t sponsored so it was a lot more transparent and honest Weird question- are the pads RGB or are they only certain colors for hot cues (green, blue, purple)?

Just a quick note. The EQ defaults to “stems” in VDJ and they obviously won’t be prepared unless you’ve done that. So if you don’t want to use stems be sure to disable it before the gig!

Great controller, but lack one best important thing. Suggest to Alpha Tetha to add digital sampler pad to the FLX10 at the microphone section, and will be the number one best controller in world.

I love my FLX10, once this bad boy dropped I had it the first week it came out. On Serato if you put the pitch fader in the middle, the light will come on as it’s the center, but on Rekordbox the light won’t turn on, I’m going through both softwares to actually check which features can be used. I’m a Serato guy myself but I’m open to Rekordbox and going to check VDJ on it as well. I like to know and have options. Congratulations on getting your FLX10 Joe!!!

@@musicgoofy86 you would get full access to the controller with Rekordbox…but you can also have great features with Serato, just not as much as you would on Rekordbox.

I also got the FLX10 and i'm also a Serato guy. I love it but I wish there will be an Serato update so we can use the DMX port for serato as well. One thing that is really annoying though is that the sound color FX noice is mega high in volume, so it is completely useless! Is there some kind of setting for this or is it a software bug? Or do I have a broken noice FX on my controller? Have you tested yours?

I have it where the "simon says" stem fx selector adds noise/distortion if all 3 aren't selected. Very irritating. And sometimes adds distortion to the color fx if I have an effect selected but all color fx knobs are at their normal point. It's bizarre

You can't even get the DDJ FLX10 still. Every place I've tried you have to back order . This is as of 16 Sep 2023! This is crazy and Pioneer needs a better distribtion system. If I wanted a Rane Four I can get that without any problem.
