Found out not long ago that I am predominantly Scottish - and all after a lifetime of hearing Welsh history & Irish tales because my father used to study genealogy with the uncanny, unswerving determination of the Baptist Minister that he is! 😅. And this was all long, long before there were home PC's & readily available DNA tests to help you along in your research! But, even tho I knew my Great-Gransparents (maternal side) actually immigrated to the U.S. straight from Scotland, there was apparently more than a drop of viril Scottish genes that snuck on thru the back door thru on my poor Daddy's side as well (a bitter pill to swallow for someone who considered himself practically 100% Welsh. Ha!! I told him not to worry...they were just being good neighbors over there in the U.K. "Yeah," he sniffed. "A little TOO good, if you ask me!!"
