I flew on that exact aircraft from Toronto to Chicago several years ago. It was my first and last Embraer experience. The friend who picked me up at the airport asked me what I thought of it. My mom and I flew on the E190 with Air Canada from Denver to Toronto which was a 3 hour flight. My best experience was the seat-back entertainment system and the plane wasn't very crowded. I don't prefer small planes to fly on but I was able to tolerate it because it's only practical to use a small plane to transport a small amount of passengers rather than the larger Boeing 737 or Airbus A319 even for a 3 hour flight.

The E-190 was the most comfortable aircraft to sit in of any that Air Canada has flown in my lifetime. That's because the cabin was widest right at elbow level. @thearsenalmisfit24144 жыл бұрын
The reason it's being retired is that there is a replacement aircraft that is so much better that it makes no sense to use them any more. Other aircraft ard being retired because the are just to old of inthe case of the 4 engined and 3 engined aircraft are to expencive yo operate compared yo the 2 engined airceaft. Also airlines are trying to cope with the massive down turn in the industry so the ard down sizing there fleets.
