Lived on Kodiak for just over 3 year over 30 years ago during my USCG days, The island is unimaginably beautiful it’s crazy how green the island gets. The Emerald Island

I lived out at ISLAND LAKE The back side in the 60s and 70s THE GRENNEST PLACE ON PLANET EARTH, IT WAS FANTASTIC Thank you Jesus Christ for putting me and my family there ,, SO MANY FANTASTIC MEMERIES

@@theodoreritola7641 I was lucky enough to work on the west side of the island at a true wilderness fly in by floatplane lodges at Larsen bay and zachar bay! No place even compares. Unique even for Alaska standards and I have lived over much of Alaska the past 40 years.

@@troyottosen8722 I worked there in the summers of 03 and O4 when it was Alaska salmon packers Liked it .. I saw big KODIAKS at the dump Fighting . It was a fun time for me , I liked going to the little store there by the mess hall and bunk houses , I saw one of the prettiest sun rises ever there out side the mess hall ,, Bright pink , Alaska GOD KISSED 2 TIMES ,, But Kodiak the town and people and Island Lake was fantastic ,,, Thanks for the video Troy . If you ever go back try to film out at ISLAND LAKE ,,On The back side.. Its sooooooo pretty Take care , And may the LORD JESUS BLESS YOU,,
