Same, I mentioned that in the review that it's good but not great, amazing or a masterpiece.. the series have it's flaws especially the sequels which basically makes the movie NOT make any sense at all and ruins the premise of the film by revealing that Guest 1337 isn't the last of his kind and that there are still guests alive :|

A classic, a classic with outdated moments and weird writing around some parts, but overall something fun to look back to once in a while. Working with EnderFred on his evil alfred series, we look back to Matt’s work like tlg that’s like the catalyst to our inspiration, and to other fans we know too. Like without obliviousHD’s content, i don’t know where i be today.

Agree, the series was fun to watch and I remember watching it on my old smart tv before i gave it away.. I do wish Matt the best and hope that he does one day come back to TLG and fix some of it's issues that the series had and I do hope that he turn the sequels to prequels instead. I also wish you and Ender the best on his project since it looks really promising and I'm looking forward to reviewing it once TEA 3 is released, normally I would wait until the movie is fully completed but I kinda wanna talk about it and give me thoughts on the film :3 I forgor what else i was gonna say here.. damn adhd

It is nostalgia, but it really doesn't hold up that well. And as someone who has watched it, and modern films side-by-side, it's a masterpiece of it's time.

True, it was considered a masterpiece back when it was first release but over the years it just didn't really age well when it comes to storywise, plotwise and animation wise. It's like the Muffins saga (a fan sequel to the mlp creepypasta Cupcakes), it was a great at the time but the writing itself didn't age well especially the ableism in the story and plotholes + characters being too OP

Lol, this review will be me looking at TLG through a critical mindset as someone who is a fan of the series alongside matt's other series (I am still a fan of his content to this day but even I have my fair share of issues with how he writes his stories)

I remember how big this was back in the day, good times. I probably would have completely forgotten about it if guest 1337 wasn't added to forsaken (GO PLAY IT ITS AMAZING)

What I find funny about Piggy tbh is the fact that it's literally Peppa Pig characters but renamed and reskinned because of an obvious reason, I'm sure that Mark Baker and Neville Astley wouldn't approve of someone making a game about their characters murdering other characters if MiniToon kept their names

Glad you liked it, and yes, if this video gets enough views I might talk about the sequels.. it may or may not be a review, rather me explaining why TLG shouldn't have sequels and should've simply had prequels instead bc in my opinion the sequels ruin The Last Guest and it kinda beats the meaning of the title. Like, if you are going to reveal that Guest isn't the last of his kind then don't call it The Last Guest, maybe call it Bacon Hair Wars or something :p

Yeah and the sequels doesn't make the movie even better since they use a lot of... let's say, n@zi references. From The Bacon General referring to his species as the superior race to a literally prison camp that can only be describe as something similar to what happened back then, oh and the Bacon Army flag colors look way too similar to a certain flag :|

Fair opinion and valid too, I'm not going to judge you for still liking TLG and thinking that it isn't outdated, that's perfectly fine /nbr /gen However, in my own personal opinion, the series didn't age well and it feels outdated considering the plot of the series doesn't make sense at all and there's a lot of plotholes that haven't be fixed/filled to explain WHY certain things happened in the movie, like example: Why do the bacon hairs hate Guests. Matt had a chance of making these plot holes fixed if he had just made the sequels into prequels instead but he'd didn't so the audience is left with unanswered answers and a film that just doesn't make sense and it isn't great, I'm not saying the movie is not good, the movie is good but it shouldn't be called a masterpiece or amazing, and I don't wanna sound like that person but it shouldn't of got a bloxxy reward either. Ofc, this doesn't mean I hate The Last Guest, The Bacon Hair or any of Oblivioushd's works (or oblivious himself), because I can still critic the stuff I like while also still being a fan of said thing, example with helluva boss and hazbin hotel, I like those two series but even I have an issue with how the plot is handle and how the character design is handle (as well as dislike Vivziepop because of how controversial she is due to her behind the scenes behavior and her alleged transphobia/homophobia) but that doesn't mean I hate the series.
