I still enjoy the nad m32 for several years now
@khoi839 ай бұрын
BUT after several years, there is now one horizontal point line across the whole screen now. It seems several other NAD M32 are experiencing the same issue, which does not affect the sound, by chance!
@khoi839 ай бұрын
The NAD M33 is newer and the screen is better so no idea if one day this production (programmation) problem would appear too on the M33... à suivre

I auditioned the M33 with a pair of Dynaudio Contour 30i’s - perfect synergy, amazing sound quality, very airy and detailed presentation but not at all unpleasantly “forward” sounding, tight control of the low octaves - on my upgrade list as v2 with the Dyns…

Killer product, really amazing!! I prefer the M66 though b/c the power section of the M3 fell short with my maggies. But I loved all the rest of M33 in fact I'm saving for the M66 right now.

In the future, gonna have to decide between this NAD, Yamaha RN-2000a and Arcam's SA35/45 when I decide to upgrade from my C 3050 LE. Have not too much bad things to say about NAD or Bluesound. Have heard NAD's implementation of the Eigentakt amp circuit on the C298 and was mad impressed back when I had it in house.

MUSIC PRODUCERS BEWARE! It's is a great amp acoustically, I love it. I have the M33 but the problem with NAD amps no one is talking about is latency! If you want to play anything live, like putting the stylus on the record, the gap between action and sound is seconds! So when I try to play some ideas in my living room for music production for example, the latency makes its impossible to use. So its only good for Spotify streaming or digital listening, anything analog or music production it falls apart.... not sound wise but timing wise.

Funny and click bait for sure. But seriously tho. This unit has already proved end game for many audio enthusiast. It’s not like it’s a new product, so I can without a doubt say YES, many folks could and will call this “end game”. Cheers and thanks for watching the video and being active in helping us with our charity work!! 🥰👍🏼👍🏼🤗🤗

I wanted to bring attention to an issue I’ve encountered with my NAD M33, particularly around the subwoofer output level. While I love the M33’s design and sound quality, the ultra-low output from the sub out line has made it challenging to get the performance I’d expect, especially at low listening levels. Here are the specific issues: Low-Level Listening Problems: The subwoofer doesn’t consistently receive a strong enough signal to activate at lower volumes, impacting the full audio experience. Dirac Calibration Issues: This low output has caused real complications with Dirac measurements, one of the key features that drew me to the M33. Proper calibration is practically impossible when the sub signal isn’t accurate. After reaching out to NAD support, they acknowledged this as a known issue. However, there’s currently no fix planned, nor a timeline for addressing it in a firmware update. Unfortunately, any posts about this on the forum are quickly removed, with instructions to contact support directly, which has left me and others in the community without a forum to openly discuss this problem. If you’re an M33 owner or considering buying one, I encourage you to be aware of this limitation. It’s a fantastic unit otherwise, but this issue can be a dealbreaker for those relying on full-spectrum sound or Dirac calibration. If anyone has found a fix and not a band-aid, I’d love to hear about it!

I think some modern audiophile like screens. It’s a thing. Personally I would much rather have all that go into quality of parts and sound quality. But I get it, and it is kinda cool I suppose. Wise man told me one time, “if you don’t like change, you’ll hate extinction”. 👌

Hey James, just wondering if you had tried plugging those R700 you have behind you into the M33 and if you liked the sound. I'm planning on pairing this amp with some R7s and want to know if it would pair well. Thanks for thr video!

Eh....I was frequenting my local hifi shop in 1980, around the time N.A.D.'s 3020 and similar rigs were getting attention, and even though it is N.A.D. (New Acoustic Dimension), the guys who were selling it regularly referred to it as "nad"....it was just simpler. So I think either is ok (like my opinion matters).
