I am actually not even jealous that this guy has this car, he seems fairly middle aged and when you see this car you'd think a young mad lad is probably driving it, nope its a middle aged guy with a wife and kids, and its amazing. Awesome build. Recently acquired a 2008 (also Matador Red) with only 46k miles. Needed to replace the door panels - they were the OEM blunders that didn't get replaced (NOT cheap). Thinking about welding up my own Titanium exhaust (I own FLYZEYE Fabrication LLC) but have questions about tuning... Did the header / exhaust system require complicated tuning to "run" properly? Your car sounds amazing! Love the carbon work. Like your purist vibes. 100% on that. I'm thinking only exhaust, front and rear carbon, side lips, and some tint. Not seeking a 800HP monster. Used to ride crotch rockets GSXR-1100, Duc 748, and a RC51) for my speed thrills. Trying to build a super clean car that's a little special.

@@TheT1r1 No it was a tight fit in driver side. The passenger side was a joke cause my knees were touching the glovebox. The RC-F has move room then IS-F. I have a GS-F and can't complain of space. All are master pieces though and well worth. Just find what's best for you. GL

I really want an isf. Love my is350 still is fast and powerful. My wife was late for work and she said I need to take your car I’m late. I was half asleep. I wanted tell her to be safe. Anyway with 207,000 miles on it still purrs and powerful, however it’s starting smoke when I rev it but only during back pressure and tia bluish well you can smell oil burn undoubtedly, so I’m hoping it’s just sludge on valve seals or in that area

I would like one too. Nice! That’s high miles like mine but sounds like it’s running decent still. Hmm smoke issue is weird. Could always run a cleaner or seafoam through the engine, some Lucas oil additive and change oils to see if the problem persists. Could be the seals as well. I switched to high mileage synthetic oil to hopefully avoid any issues like that

Did you ever find out/fix the problem? My guess is valve cover gaskets or hight pressure fuel pump gaskets worn out and leaking onto the exhaust manifold.

Really considered getting this after I sold my 04 GS430 but ended up a 07 MB W211 E550 the V8 non AMG’s are open secrets to affordable 400 HP without AMG admission fees everyone seems to demand a arm and a leg for nice Lexus these days even on GS460’s. And to my surprise the W211 has done well for me so far plenty of support and resources in sourcing parts don’t have to be bend over at dealership for that.
