Can't say how much I loved this. Best thing ever. Cast were amazing & did complete justice to Bernard Cornwells novels. I have watched it all 4 times & shall do again.

I read the novels a couple of years before the series came out, I was so excited to watch it. But most series’ don’t do the books justice in my opinion as obviously books have more time to explain great detail. This series *absolutely did!* I loved every minute of it. Loved the cast. They were all perfect, and I Can’t wait for the movie!

@@sabinemorgner24 I think he looks exactly like a Saxon would likely have looked. Blue eyes (or green) and all colours of hair would have been normal in those times. Especially dark haired. Uhtred was not a Dane, who are more likely to be fair haired, or a redhead - (like me lol.) I think they did absolute justice to the books. The playfulness of Uhtreds character comes through as well as the tragic losses & all aspects of the book. Alfred was an absolute star of the show too, I loved his acting and his character.
