I don't remember if your name is Clive or Clide, but here is an interesting story about St-Gemma Galagani. I heard it from a priest and I do not remember the name of the cardinal... St-Gemma Galagani is an Italian Saint. She died in 1934. She was very beautiful and died at a young age of 23 or 24, around that... She used to pray for her brother who was a drunk and a wild man. He left the home and never returned. He did not want to go to church and he hated priest. Since he had left she prayed for her brother and never stopped believing that God would save her older brother. She sacrificed and prayed until her last breath. She never saw her brother again. One day in Brazil a Cardinal was visiting and during one night he wanted to be closer to Jesus and asked his guides to come with him in the streets! He really wanted to be closer to Jesus by meeting the poor beggars of the streets. Then they went out and walked the streets and then they got close to a garbage site and noticed some tin moving, the cardinal approached it, but his guides did not want him to venture there because it was not safe, but the cardinal said, I think there is someone under the tin(sheet of steal), so he went and pick up the tin and there was a man there dying... The cardinal took him in his arms and asked the man if he could help him, and the man replied,,, Please bring me to a priest because I feel my life is ending... Then the cardinal said, I am a priest, I can confess you! The man confessed and died in his arms. He was the brother of St-Gemma Galgani.

Bringing a child into the world, knowing full well that he will suffer and die for our sins and then seeing that with her own eyes was immense suffering. And if you doubt that, ask any mother who lost their child or had to see them suffer from illness.
