Hello everyone, Kandui Resort back again. We hope everyone is safe and sound and everyone enjoyed episode 2 of the Last Man in the Mentawai. Good News, we have new information with International travel to Indonesia and to the Mentawais. Unfortunately Indonesia is still not issuing any tourist visas on arrival but we have found a way for you to safely enter Indonesia and visit Kandui Resort. A Negative PCR test result is required to enter the country and our immigration agents can now process your Online eVisa within 1 business day. You can also now arrive directly to Jakarta to have your visa stamped on your passport, making the visa process extremely faster than it previously was. This also allows you the flexibility to chase a swell from your home country and timing could not be better. Our late season has been incredible with the best October in years and November looks even better. Episode 2 focused on an April run of swell we had at Bank Vaults. Episode 3 will focus on a June swell just up the reef from the resort at Rifles, Indonesia's best righthand barrel. The 2020 season had a slower than normal start but things started heating up in June with 2 back to back evening rifles sessions. Rifles can be a very fickle wave to catch and after a tough 2019 with south winds, we were pumped to see her back in all her glory. We also scored one of the better sessions in years at Dog Reef and feel this edit really shows why June is always one of our most demanded months of the year.
