Because of the oud has 11 strings A,B,C,D,E,F only A is a single string and the rest is double strings which give you much more tones and there are rare versions of oud that has more strings and give more authentic music. try to listen to the " el Qanon music instrumental " you will find it much much harder than the oud

because the oud he used has 13 strings .... so he managed to achieve reach some register's notes the normal oud or guitar cant achieve the same notes.

really amazing. as an Indian who lived in the Arab world for most part of my life and right now living in Europe, I say that the world is almost entirely ignorant of the potential of the Arabs. we need more people who would be ambassadors of good faith just like this talented young man here who showed how heavenly Arabic musical instruments can be. personally I'm also a big fan of Arabic food especially the shawarma

Islam isnt the reason for the Arab worlds slumber, if anything, its keeping the Middle East from soffication. Its the people as a whole, its corruption and greed.
