Kermit how big/skinny you are actually has almost no effect on strength. Strength and body mass workouts are usually chosen one or the other, and in some martial arts getting ripped is actually discouraged cause once you reach a certain size the mass starts to limit mobility and impact stamina, especially around the shoulders and legs. Plenty of marines and cage fighters are skinny or chubby but would drop the average person no sweat

I loved this fight on survivor difficulty. Every time I died (and I died ALOT) to Ellie just cemented how much of a badass she is and this helps legitimize how she was able to kill so many people to get to where she is now. One of the greatest moments in my playthrough is when she dodged a bottle I threw at her and I got machete'd for my attempt. Getting killed by her trip mine was probably the funniest death in the whole game due to how ironic it was.

Not gonna lie, during the third phase, I personally enjoyed throwing bottles and bricks at her trap mines for a few hours while I hide from a distance. Because Ellie will keep coming back to the mines but realized I was gone, she would curse out. I do that many times until Ellie said, *"YOU THINK I'M STUPID?"* 😆😆😆 I guess I'm the only one that does this. Her dialogue is really adorable in this one. The tiny details they put in this game is something to appreciate Of course I didnt like hurting Ellie. It was the worst part about this fight😐

Well if it wasn’t for Lev and Yara, Abby would’ve been killed by Tommy. Even here if Lev wasn’t there or outside of the theater, Abby, as strong and skilled as she is, wouldn’t have been able to survive that kind of fight. She can’t take on Ellie and Tommy BOTH at the same time. Clearly as you see Tommy trying to grab the gun from her after stopping her from shooting Ellie, just as those two are struggling over the gun, Ellie could’ve ran and picked up Jesse’s gun and shoot Abby in the back of her head or in her back to wound her, thus give Tommy the edge to finish her off. But plot armor took course and had Lev come to the rescue. Abby has more plot armor than any other fictional character, including Kratos and Goku like wtf. Oh well, damage is already done.

What I really liked about this fight is Abby and Ellie fought to their strengths. Abby is physically way stronger over Ellie any day in an unarmed fight but weak on her reflexes and on weapon combat compared to Ellie. On the other hand, Ellie is just too fast and sneaky partially like a ninja and hard to get hold off and will have the better advantage over Abby anyday on a weapon fight.

I know people have lots of problems with Abby, the story, and this game as whole, but I really have to hand it to Abby in this moment. She spared Ellie a second time even after Ellie and Tommy killed (and in some instances tortured) Abby’s friends. She’s the one who breaks the cycle of violence and revenge. That's the whole point though. Up until Abby resolved to get revenge, again, for Owen and Mel, she was back on the straight and narrow. Then when she discovers the map she's at a crossroads again. She can evacuate Lev, and not go after Tommy and Ellie, or she could fail the test and seek vengeance. Mind you she just survived saving Lev and escaping the fiercest conventional battle on the West Coast, and she willfully puts that victory at risk. Abby at the outset of the fight not acknowledging her part in the events demonstrates she still doesn't comprehend the full ramifications of what she did. It's not until she decides to spare Dina that you can see the realization on her face. Lev reminds her the good she achieved by seeing a better path, and she leaves Ellie there without Owen having to guide her this time.

The reason we love Eli is because we get to grow up with her along with Joel we see what they fight for we see their goals we see what they long for. But with Abby throws a different twist on the game. What we fail to realize is everyone that Joel and Ellie killed most likely had a family they had someone they are connected to they had someone that they cared about and it isn’t dumb to say that some of them want revenge against what Joel and Ellie did to them. Yes some of the villains were clear cut like the thieves inside of the city where do you meet the two black dude. But some were more up in the air and it was up to you when it comes to Abby she is a villain yes but that’s only because she killed someone we care about. Had Abby killed anyone else besides Joel Eli, and barely Tommy we wouldn’t have really cared. Especially since Abby had a pretty good reason for doing it. Think about this if Joel would’ve killed someone close to Abby and Abby went after Joe for it would you not sympathize with her. And if the answer is yes well guess what that’s exactly what happened. Yes I realize the Joel didn’t know that Abby’s father was the doctor but to be fair there are consequences for what you do in this game expresses that beautifully

There's a moment from this part that always gets to me, which is when Ellie is laying on the ground coughing up blood, and she has this really sad look in her eyes where she realizes her worst enemy has once again won, and she's gotten several more people killed for her revenge fantasies. No one ever said the gameplay was bad. The AI was nice, good mechanics, great environment and acting. Issue was with the story. It still is. Joel shouldn't have died, there was still much for him to explore, he deserved an arc where he and ellie finally came through, and ellie understood why joel did what he did. I know the ending supposedly did that, but we as the players didn't really experience it. It was like a statement, not an actual experience. Regardless, issue was simply with the story. I just didn't like the entire story, and I wish they had explored something else. I think they could have done better. They should have done better given they had so many years to figure out the general story. It feels like studio suddenly pushed them to give out a game, and they picked the first thing that came to mind. A revenge story. They could have done much better. Look at God Of War 4. They both basically had the same time, but look what they made, the story, the arcs, and then look at TLOU.

The way Abby and lev snuck up on Tommy is exactly what you're supposed to do when you're going from one room to another, approach quietly and your back against the wall before entering another room, unlike Jesse and Ellie that just rushed into a room without using any caution, which led to Jesse being killed off by Abby shooting him in the face as soon as he entered the room, so Jesse's death is pretty much his own fault, now that's a fact.

I personally loved this Game. I thought it was very smart to make you play as both Ellie and Abby, allowing you to see both sides of the story. This fight felt like two of your favourite siblings fighting, you don't know which side to choose. This fight was brutal, every time I get to this part, I find it hard as I don't want either of them to get hurt. At least they both survived in the end...barely. If it wasn't for Lev, Abby would've killed Dina. Lev is easily my favourite when it comes to the new characters introduced in this Game.

The 1st time Abby spared Ellie was because she was meaningless to Abby, just somebody who happened to turn up. Abby didn’t want to be Joel so she spared her but in no way did she actually care one way or the other. Owen mentions something like this when we revisit the mansion scene... “How are we any better?” The 2nd time was because she had grown and understood that no good would come of it, not because someone would come after her but because she knew the person she wanted to become needs to let go of the hate and move forward into the light. She was done with fighting and wanted to find meaning in life with a positive outlet. That outlet was Lev who brought her down to Earth the moment he said her name. Fuck man. There is so much to unpack in this game. I completed 2 months ago and I’m still in awe with the emotional content!

And what you just mentioned it's why i think Abby is such a GREAT game chracter, the game really put you into Ellie's shoes and we felt what she felt after Joel's death, then after kill all Abby's friends including a pregnant lady Mel we started to question ourselves. Then in the second part we see Abby's redemption story and started to feel sympathy for Abby, we learned she's not only physically strong but also mentally strong, especially from the part of the skycraper and the part she was protecting Lev from Issac. Damn i just love them both and i feel bad everytime people are so ignorant and will listen to all the negative comments online instead really play the game themselves, i was lucky to avoid all spoliers and yeah i hated the game after Joel's death but after i played as Abby and watch the ending, mannnn, what a emotional roller coaster. Ellie is the Scariest boss out of the franchise ngl. Placing bombs. Using different weapons that you upgraded, sneaking everywhere very quickly, straight up killing you if you attack her head on. She made me so proud seeing her play like we do. but then again are you really telling me Abby was able to keep up with all of that just throwing bottles at Ellie every change she got even after taking a stab in the leg? Then beat the shit out of her like Ellie hadn't fought dozens upon dozens of her people, Scars, Infected, and big ass monsters alone?

I've seen a lot of people questioning how Tommy survived a shot to the head. If you watch the scene really slow you can see the bullet only grace the side of his cheek. Where he has a scar in the end. They would only need to clean it and stich it up. A lot of people also think that Abby breaks Ellie's arm. That's not what happened. The "snapping" sound you hear is the gun Ellie is holding being thrown to the floor.

Ellie always had it in her to be a protector, a soldier, a hunter, and to be a David against a Goliath. Ellie never had it in her slaughter or torture the weak and defenseless. That was always Joel's job. Ellie is not Joel. The worse acts she commits the worse her trauma gets. If any of you understand severe PTSD Ellie struggles with it the entire game. You can see it from a mile away.
