Nice.. I have two questions: Q1: before you add Ultra , you have a light and you turn off then you add Ultra? Q2: how you did the character very nice on time 10:55?

Ultra dynamic sky comes with all features like , clouds , sky light , weather , fog , so we don't need any lights or visual effects except the post process volume. If you keep those default lights or clouds it can cause many problems with UDS, At the time of rendering I delete all the default lights , when I am using UDS, The answer of second question is , right now I am working on the tutorial of my latest last of us environment that I made, So stay tuned, I will show every technique in detail that I have used to create these environments or cinematics.

Hey, I am a just learning unreal engine. I want to make a small town to test my little game project. I've loosely chosen to adopt the last of us art style. I say loosely because my game is not first person, but isometric top down. I have a few questions. 1. Can any asset be made to look like this environment? 2. Since my game will be a little zoomed out(isometric), I can reduce the poly count to ease up graphics processing. Will reducing the poly count at higher zoom levels affect the feel of the environment?

Answer to Question 1: Yes, any asset can be made to look like The Last of Us style by using realistic textures, proper lighting, and adding environmental details like dirt, wear, and overgrowth. Focus on creating a consistent, gritty aesthetic even with isometric visuals. Answer to Question 2: Reducing poly count is fine for a zoomed-out isometric view, as details won’t be as noticeable. Use good textures, normal maps, and LOD settings to maintain the environment’s feel while optimizing performance.

If you are beginner in unreal engine that might be a difficult for you to modify the 3D assets , but you can easily do that in any 3d software like blender.

I mean there is not a specific asset pack , these assets are completely free from different websites, if you are interested you can have project files almost my all previous projects including this one, on my Patreon. Thank you 😊

Camera - 30mm .DSLR , focus set to disabled Rendering... Anti aliasing, temporal sample count= 32 EXR Render format 4k Resolution. I use IO configurations to render my cinematics for color grading in divanci, You can watch the william faucher tutorial for more in depth. And then I use console variables , in this environment render I just used 3 console variables. r.shadow.distancescale 0 r.motionblurquality 5 r.depthoffieldquality 4 That's it nothing special 😊 Remember high quality rendering also depends on assets , almost all the assets that I used have 4k textures , so that's makes a lot of difference in quality.
