***** I don't know if you remember Sly, but in the E3 demo Joel shoots a man at the end and it does just that. Sometimes I think they downgrade the game when it releases just to save money. I love it when they puff up these demos and make them look amazing (watch dogs) and then the final product just seems different. Sometimes I can never put my finger on it until I've played it for awhile, but for games like Area-51 on the xbox/ps2. They changed around weapons and character looks entirely from the demo I played to release. Thanks for responding to my comment and I do agree with you. It's a graphic game meant to represent brutality in the apocalypse so why not show it to the core? XD Oh man that just sounds maniacal.

I understand your point but Last of Us is really one of the more goreish and bloody games of all times. If a thing like that is still not in videogames it's because of the hardware. There was a time when there were not even death animations or physics of the corpses. With Max Payne 2 that thing was done. in the ps3/360 generation they improved things like wounds, blood on clothes, shots in the body etc... In the next gen IMHO somebody will come up with a shooter with real corpse reactions and physics and realistic wounds and deflagration to the body depending on what you shoot, but not now. BTW you should see the latest Mortal Kombat. Not realistic, but maaaan those damages.

DaddoFatto94 I absolutely agree, but at the same time if they are doing it with demos and/or scripted events then they could make it happen. Like Sly's comment on the jaw which is what I was hinting at. He shoots the guy in the face and it does realistic damage so in my opinion they could make it happen, but it would have just taken way to much time to implement.
