He was bringing up trailer 2 being connected to the theme of hate in the game about Ellie, which for me is more proof Anna, or Ellie's mom is NOT in trailer 2, but Ellie's sister, friend, or girlfriend. I think the game will flashback to Anna but it'll be a total surprise. They gave us a red herring to make everybody jump to thinking it's Anna, it worked.

I think she did a good job. Even though she droppet it a little towards the end there. At least she knows what she's talking about. She has even played the first game. Love how she started with questions that all gamers would ask, even though, ofcourse, you wouldt get the answers to. Better to have an interviewer who has some understanding of the material at hand. Usually they don't.

No offense to Hannah but I would've asked so many more questions. I would asked about DLC, side stories like Ish and his kids from the sewer, if the continuation would tie up loose ends from the first part (looking at you Joel and Ellie), she got that huge piece of information that someone was pregnant and didn't even think about how in the trailer the cult lady leader said the muscle lady has sin in her and held a knife to her stomach? Is the muscle lady Ellie's girlfriend? What are they doing in Washington? What were they expecting to accomplish with part 2? Horde mode, Factions MP, etc. Being a fan for 2 years pales in comparison to people like me who has played this game when it was released in 2013, countless times, watched every possible interview regarding the last of us. I know they chose Hannah because she is a known name but I would much rather they find someone else who invested more than 2 years into the game and games in general.

Microtransactions and online multiplayer is secondary in Uncharted series and pretty much all Naughty Dog games. The problem occurs when it becomes an integral part of the gaming experience like shit that happened with EA.

Since there is no story elements in MMO and other multiplayer segments of single-player games, you cannot label them linear or non-linear. It's just pure gameplay and in the past few years such model with its microtransactions and loot boxes caused a lot of uproar among gamers. You don't see that much hate when it comes to single-player experience. I think it will only get worse with time, unless gaming industry learns something from the recent EA fiasco.

The host wasn’t very good either. She’s only been a fan for two years and was added bc of her celebrity status. She also pretty much said she only played the Last of Us and no other games. She wasn’t professional in her interviewing too much either, asking the crew questions that made them uncomfortable since they couldn’t answer them. It’s like if someone got to interview the entire cast and crew of Avengers: Infinity War when 1) all of their knowledge comes from a few of the MCU films and 2) they don’t know a lot about the process of films, and only got to be a host to the interview because of celebrity status. Throughout the panel I could tell she made at least a few of them really uncomfortable, especially Neil. He looked like he had a lot to talk about, but the host only asked him about fan theories and when the game is coming out. And I’m sure the host, Hannah Hart, is a very nice person and did some research beforehand, but she needed a co-host at least. That’s just my opinion tho. I’m not bashing her (even though I’ve been critical), I just don’t think she was the right host for a panel that needed a host who would ask the right questions to make the panel interesting instead of just getting the answer of “we can’t tell you that.”

I've pretty much figured out the plot. That religious cult in the trailer, somehow has Ellie imprisoned. She gets pregnant, they sacrifice the baby, and that's why in the first trailer she said she wants to kill every last one of them. Makes perfect sense motivation wise, and it's a fuck of a lot better than Joel dying and her wanting revenge for it. Also fits in with the theme of hate.

*POSSIBLE LAURA BAILEY CHARACTER SPOILERS* On IMDb, her character is currently billed as Anna. Which is Ellie’s mother’s name. So maybe Anna, Lev, and Yara are flashback characters to before Ellie was born, and the mystery woman is her mother. It would make sense for the comment they said Halley made about “I️ think I️ just got somebody pregnant.” Maybe Halley came up with the idea for the flashback scenes and these new characters to fill in the spaces between the beginning and ending that Neil had. Ugh I️ hope Ellie’s not pregnant... I’d rather not have her sexuality be a big thing because it was played so beautifully in Left Behind and so organically, and it would just be annoying for them to be like “Oh Ellie has a boyfriend now.” Who’s got time for that in the apocalypse 😂

Battlefront 2 and other games along those lines locking hours and hours of gameplay behind loot cases. It's becoming a trend with most developers at this current point in time. With games like this one, you get everything you want right from the get-go, you know. Naughty Dog gives us the full package to experience how we want

I asked myself halfway through watching it "why did they even bother" because not much was said other than the E3 trailer and that those two characters are siblings, but I'd much rather those been a secret also. The performance with Troy and Ash was absolutely beautiful though! I love that song so it was really cool to see them perform!

Yeah, the Uncharted panel was great, because they could freely share on everything they've been through, and it makes me miss Uncharted so much, I miss the characters, Nate, Elena, Sully. I'm actually having teary eyes couple of time watching that, all the feels... Actually I personally think that is actually no need to have a Last of Us Part II panel, unless they got something practical to show, such as new screenshots, new concept art or something, but they literally offer nothing other than the opening performance.
