This was a great episode. Pedro Pascal and Bella Remsey have great chemistry in this episode. It is always great to see Joel laugh. You can see Joel warming up to her when he shows her how to use a gun. You can see that he's taking Bill advice to heart. Spending time with her reminded him of Sarah until he lost her on that fateful day. You can see how Joel felt bad that Elle had to save him from that resistance guy who was trying to kill him. And to see her go to the room to gather herself, let's you know this is gonna affect her. As you can tell Joel, feel some guilt that Elle may become just like him. But anyway I hope you have a wonderful day. Stay safe, take care and stay amazing Tynia.

10:42, when this came out a lot of people had a hard time seeing Melanie Lynskey as a believable post apocalyptic shot caller. They felt she seemed more like a PTA mom and not a warlord. IDK lots of unlikely people wind up being in charge in time of crisis.

Her soft voice actually makes her more more unsettling and creepy. It's an unsettling contrast of evil and sweetness.

A quiet place. Lights out. Don't breathe. Not scary or horror. But better in my opinion cause they're psychological thrillers.
