Heyy, I'm a flight attendant and your story made me feel good because I did that for one passenger too. He asked me if I could take a picture from the cockpit over Greenland. So I took like a lot of pictures and he was happy. But you made me realize that this dude will probably talk about this day to his friends and he probably feels good about this day too. So cool 😎 didn't realize it till now how I impacted that guy!

It’s so cool to hear you guys talk about your photos and the stories behind them! I love the memory aspect of taking photos and I think that’s why I’ve switched to shooting film primarily for my personal work and on my channel. Looking at a film photo and all of its color shifts and imperfections is like you are looking at a memory.

I've been watching PM for years and this is my favorite series you've ever done. I loved the tutorials for the purpose they served, but now I've become way less focused on the technical aspect of photography and just love hearing the stories behind the shots. My favorites are the shots that would never be posted on social media but have a rich history behind them. Love this man. Keep it up!

What an inspiring episode! I love photography so much. THANK YOU...I also appreciate the ISO as a tool for a moody photo. So many of my friends always try to run the ISO low, and it just bugs me with all the tech we have in the world right now especially. If you want to get rid of grain, you can. But high ISO has never ruined a shot for me, ever -- within the bounds of not blowing out exposure of course! -- in fact, many of my photos are high ISO and I also think it adds a bit of that filmy feel without it being film. It was nice to hear you both comment on that. I got so frustrated by people telling me I'm not professional if I shoot auto ISO, or use higher ISO. Some situations just call for it, and it can definitely be your friend.

I was a Navy Photographer 1971 to 1975 on the USS TICONDEROGA we recovered and photographed Apollo 16-17 the last Manned Moon Missions it was the time of my life I have a lot of great shots that no one ever talks about. Sometime I'll share we of course used film not as easy as digital I would give anything to go back in time with my digital Sonys and I used Canons back then. Also shot with Speed Graphics believe it or not. We even had the same Hassleblads the same type that they left back on the moon. The Nasa Photographers had them and we worked with them directly. I'm 70 now and getting ready to travel from Florida to Alaska to trace my father's foot steps on the Alaskan Highway that he was an engineer on during WW2. Stay tuned.

I now use Google One (Google Photos) as our client delivery system. I don't know if it's just a sort of confirmation bias but when they warned about possible pixelation for compressed-quality uploads (which used to be called high-quality, unlimited storage) I actually saw some quality degradation! Glad their storage is cheap!

This series shows that behind every photo you take there's some amazing story to tell, the BTS. All you have to do is to tell it in a way so that the others would be drawn into. Unfortunately - seems like I either don't have that gift, or I just take photos and there's no story to them at all... 😅
