Thank you for this video. My dad has always expected a lot more from me than I was capable of and has never complimented me on any of my accomplishments. Even when I graduated HS as the valedictorian, he was not proud of me. I grew up believing I was a failure. Now, two years from HS graduation, every time I scroll through my brother's fb page and see all the beautiful pictures of the dream college life I could have had, bitter remorse would flood my heart, and I would start feeling useless, talentless, and inadequate. So your message, "You are young and you're going to keep getting better," really threw me into a mess of tears and gratitude. I'm only 20. I realize I don't have to be perfect when I'm just beginning to learn something. I just need to have perseverance, faith in God, and self-respect.
