What about the drawing? I know that with wood and plaster bats they help to dry the clay and help it separate from the bat.

Good questions Levi. That does not happen with glazed tiles but with unglazed tiles it does draw out some water. I always cut my work off the bats at leather hard so it's not a problem for my workflow to use the glazed ones (the .16 and .39 cent tiles). If letting your work pop off the bats naturally is your workflow then I would make sure you could get some good unglazed tiles before purchasing this one Levi. Hope that helps! -mj

Can you make a 10” version, and I’ll drill holes for my little Amazon wheel?

When I click the link to pre-order it just takes me to your website that has the message “This product couldn’t be found”. None of your other options (Etsy & Amazon prime) show the new tile spinner either.

Hey Maree! Good question - the clay WILL slip off the tile if you dont' dry it off first. even if you just wipe the water off first though it will work just fine. My first motion is always pushing down and in to secure the clay firmly as i center. I would say it happens every rarely for me though. I keep it all mostly dry as I smack the clay down onto the tile bats.
