I wonder will Yoro Railway repaint this train set. It would look really good in its stainless steel cladding running between Kuwana and Ogaki.

It has a huge resemblance to the American Subway rolling stocks. A brilliantly built piece. :)

Wilbert Dapapac 7000 and 7700 series was built by Tokyu Car Company with stainless steel that was licensed from budd company. Budd Company built stainless steel trains such as pioneer zephyr and R11 R32 New York Subway cars. The 7000 series was based on Southeastern Philadelphia Transportation Authority (SEPTA)’s commuter train Budd M-3. Based on it’s design, Japanese engineers changed some components to fit Japanese operating environment.
