This was a great format for these because I was cleaning my desk today and it felt like body-doubling! I always love a cleaning montage in a vlog (Heather's 24 in 24 are my favorite) because I listen to booktube while I do my chores 😅

How bad am I that I was envious of the cleaning sections? It looked so wholesome and calming...(I'm currently at work at the office so can't use that energy to turn into tidying my home...life's hardships are so unreal :D )

My unhauls go to the little free libraries in my neighbourhood. I’m a 95% library reader first, so I only pick up books I want to be keepers. The biggest reason I unhaul is when I’ve found out something about the author, like how they’ve SA’d fans at conventions for example. Or, they claim to be indigenous, but no records can be found at the relevant Tribal Office, as another.

I love love your holiday sweater! Good job organizing, cleaning, and unhauling some books. Although I don't have many physical books (I read mostly e-books and unhaul physical books rather quickly once read), I do need to clean and organize my home office during my winter break from work. Hoping that actually happens.

All of "my" areas need a massive declutter, organizing, and cleaning!!! Why does the end of the year always feel like a massive rush to do ALL the things??? I don't do an unhaul specifically for the end of the year, I unhaul all year whenever the mood strikes.

I was apartment sitting for my sister and she has a bunch of free little libraries around her place. So I unhauled some books by way of those. My ratio was pretty good too. 8 let go and only 2 books and a graphic novel picked up

I have started stacking my reads throughout each month in my living room so I continually have to acknowledge them and decide what I want to keep and not. I post said stack on Instagram when all is said and done then put away what I will be keeping and what can either be donated or go to a few specific bookish friends.

I have actually started to unhaul as I go as well (49 so I get it lol). If I’m not impressed it immediately goes into the unhaul stack. Then I periodically go through my shelves and see if there are more I want to get rid of.
