1:00:01. In the Avatar Korra Comics that take place after the series ended, they do confirm that Korra & Asami are in fact a couple, & they further develop their relationship. Also, out of the 9 named Avatars we've seen over the course of the 2 shows, the comics, & novels (Korra, Aang, Roku, Kyoshi, Kuruk, Yangchen, Szeto, Salai, & Wan), 3 have been confirmed to be LGBT+ (Korra, Kyoshi, & Salai).

37:51 Kuvira actually loved Baatar (as seems in what happened after the Book 4; she even cries in this scene in the book, but for some reason they didn't show that). She really loved him, but not enough to stay in her way. "Kuvira's Gambit", that's why this episode has this name, she sacrifices a important piece to get a better position in the chessboard (and what a position: eliminating the best opposition against her and making the next Avatar borns in the Earth's Kingdom, the right place to Kuvira controls him since the childhood).

I still feel it was a missed opportunity for the show to not have Varrack be Sokka & Suki's son since Sokka is only in 1 episode in a flashback & Suki never gets mentioned, so having Varrack be their son since he was from the Southern Water Tribe would have been a decent way to tie them into this series.

No it’s not The show already has enough children of the ATLA cast, not every character has to be related to the characters we knew before. It’s also not a big deal that Sokka was not in this episode and Suki was not mentioned at all because it isn’t about them. If you want to see more of them read the comics or wait for the new movie. Going back to a comment I wrote a few times during the Avatar The Last Airbender reactions, my personal head canon is that when they got older Toph & The Duke got together after her relationship with Kanto (whom is a character exclusively from the Avatar Comics) ended & he was Suyin's father, & this ties back to another fan theory I've mentioned about the descendants of the Airbenders that survived the Fire Nation attack on the temples include characters like Ty Lee, Teo, & The Duke which is why Opal is a new Airbender since she is his granddaughter.

Personally I enjoyed season 3 more than the actual finale of the show, but it was still a decent ending ngl. Kuvira is a cool villain but I thought the mech looked terrible. But everytime I see her metal bend that amour on, GOD DAHM I love legend of korra animation. Story-wise ATLA will always hold a special place in my heart but the fights from korra just look better. Great series reaction

The Avatar franchise maybe returning a lot sooner than you think. A few years, the creators of Avatar have formed their own group called Avatar Studios, and they said they were going to be some new Avatar content. Such as movies for Aang, Zuko, Korra, and Kyoshi. As well as the potential new Avatar series involving the next Earth bending Avatar after Korra. They all should be hinted at in the next few years.
