Yup! Exactly what I'm experiencing with my connection. She is currently living in an illusion, a beautiful fantasy which is far from the cold hard reality. Everytime I try to make her see reality and point out her self destructive behaviour, dishonesty to herself and me, she gets defensive. It's like I'm pouring my energy into a bottomless pit. I tried because I care but that's over now, no more fruitless efforts. During our last argument she said she doesn't want me to get involved anymore and to stop thinking about what can be better for her. We had a pending conversation when I sadly found out he had being engaged and broke off the engagement two years ago. He was engaged and seeing me. I felt betrayed and texted him what I found out. I was very upset. Ultimately devastated. He never reached out. I’m not sure if he would ever reach out. I’m saddened.

#1 selected. This refers to a strong connection that happened nearly 40 years ago. He was also seeing someone else... which I initially accepted. Then I moved an hour away to be closer to my family and work... effectively moving on. A year and a half later he married. When I last saw him, it had been nearly 20 years; but we had kept in touch, periodically crossing paths by phone, cards, and internet and always enjoying the interaction. I think what he regrets is letting me move away without telling me how he felt. I feel the energy of newness you saw in the last cards as a new beginning in relationships for me. He is still thoughtful, warm and kind and still married. I need to put that behind me. A whole new reality is on my horizon.

Thank you so, so much 💕 When you spoke of feeling one another's energy (which I would love a more detailed video about), it brought back this one question I have held onto for almost a year now. How do you know when it's their feelings you are feeling or just yours? I had thought of this question again a few weeks ago. I was with my family and we were watching a movie. It wasn't sad nor was I feeling sad. I was too focused on the movie's storyline until out of nowhere my person came into mind and I felt sad. Incredibly sad. It caught me way off guard because the movie nor my thoughts had anything to do with them in that moment. Was I feeling them and what they were feeling? Or was my subconscious just messing with me? I sometimes have a hard time trying to understand if I am just missing them or I am feeling them miss me???
