One of my favourites for the music and the acting. The amazing encounter between the Captain (War) and Vogel (Peace), superbly interpreted by Caine and Sharif. One of the very rare films about the Thirty Years War and putting forward plenty of philosophical and humanistic issues. A movie and music surely not to be forgotten.

Qué extraño , trágico y conmovedor film ..... Omar Sharif(Vogel) y Michael Caine ....

Y la bella Florinda Bolka. Tienes mucha razón Osvaldo Karpov, es una película extraña, dura, que retrata muy bien lo que fueron las guerras de religión en la Europa medieval. La música es bellísima, así como la fotografia, y por supuesto los actores. Es un película que guardo en la memoria.

@@enriquepazescudero4536 sí , hermosa la música ; online la han publicado junto a otras bandas sonoras ; respecto al film , Vogel logró salvar al valle de la destrucción total ; pudieron coexistir realidades muy diferentes pagando algunos precios dolorosos . Pero el valle se salvaba . Es un gran film , una alegoría del mundo de hoy tal vez . Saludos !
