Jews in Hungary were a part of the Horthy government. While Hungary was a German ally, the Jews there were not rounded up. When Horthy tried to switch sides in 1944, the Nazis invaded Hungary and the fascist Arrow Cross party was installed. Hungarian Jews had fought on the Eastern front against the communists which this videos claims was murdered although most of the deaths occurred in battle, as was the case with non-Jewish troops many of whom had also been drafted. When the Jews were being rounded up in 1944, Heinrich Himmler ordered the deportations to stop. The Hungarian Jewish population had swelled to a million during the was because hundreds of thousands of Polish Jews moved to Hungary largely because of persecution in Poland. This video lacks balance and context to say the least.
