Ehh for me the weapon didn’t really change much not bragging or anything bc when I potato it’s bad 😭 but I never really ads with last word and when I did it was always 4 body shot and never the first shot hitting unless I did it pre engagement. If they really buffed hip fire that much I might have to go get it back from collections

I really love this gun. I love the functionality, design and the concept. I'm honestly definitely willing to become a good player so I can use the gun and destroy. People hate on the gun and talk about how it "got nerfed into the ground." They just made the weapon more into the way it was intended, a hip fire cowboy 225 rpm hand cannon. Becoming good might be a long road, but anyone can try to get there.

On one hand pretty happy that it's back to being a hipfire gunslinger, on the other hit reg seems off at times, sometimes shots that should miss still somehow hit and shots that should have hit just fly into the void.

When I would run the last word in comp I found myself using the laconic ornament because I preferred the wider reticle, now that the weapon has changed I find myself not worrying about the reticle ever and just sticking to hip fire, nice vid cammy❤

Great vid and display of skill! Been pairing TLW with Mid Tree Dawnblade+ Lunafaction boots to increase the Range and target acquisition overall. It's a fun build and makes learning the gun a little easier as headshots hit for 82.

I’m on Consol so it’s easier for me than on M&K, but I really like The Last Word now. I’ve always preferred hip-firing it, but the ADS range bump and Target Acquisition differences before the changes just made it better to aim down sights in every duel. Now it’s hip, and fire.

I still love it, now even more. I play on M&K and even pre-patch I almost never aimed down the sights. Seeing the radar and moving at full speed from the hip is weapons key strength for me. And now it feels in the right place, high skill high reward. Gotta aim for that noodle : ]

Cammy, you and Aztecross have renwed my faith in by far my most prized weapon in Destiny 1 and 2. I was so sad to see the nerfs Bungie had made for the weapon because like most of the community, I thought it was going to kill the gun, but now I see that it may have even been a buff in disguise. I've begun to main the weapon once more this season, and now I have put upwards of 20 hours into using it since I dusted it off in the vault yesterday. Now, I'm confident enough with it to say that this weekend, I'm going to use it to try to get my first flawless card in trials of Osiris. Thanks for opening up my eyes to my favorite gun in the game. My favorite playstyle isn't dead just yet, long live Last Word + Sniper.

The Last Word is my favourite gun of all time in Destiny all together. The story, the aesthetic, everything. It's just such a cool gun with a sick aura behind it that makes me feel like it's some beast that I have to tame and it will reward me for it. So yeah I'm gonna grind TLW lol

i absolutly love the lw after the changes on controller (i'm a pc d2 player with controller) seeing the changes i was so happy to see that the gun is getting adjusted for pc and even buffed for controller users was great. I have tried using it last week for weekly crucible games and it was great, still need to aim somewhat accordingly to the enemy and i had more fun with it then with the game overall pvp in the last few months.

I used to play with the Last Word on console, not very often, but when I played with it, I almost always fired from the hip, after the update I felt the gun had much better bullet magnetism from the hip than before, way more than every other gun in the game. I wish Bungie applied this same hip fire accuracy change to Hush.
