I remember when I was a little girl at Pleasant Grove in Houston, he would visit and preach. He and my pastor, the late Rev. A. A. McCardell, Sr. was friends.

As a young girl living in Houston, I, too, was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Late Pastor Dunn. I have fond memories of Pleasant Grove. A little side note, my Mama was a Drum Major at Phyllis Wheatley High School back in the day. My Pastor, R.E.Foster in Austin, Texas, at Zion Rest MBC introduced us to Pastor E.V. Hill. I'm grateful to God for the opportunity listen to this prolific preacher. To God Be The Glory for his life and legacy. 🙌🏾❤️🙌🏾

Rev. AA. Mccardell would often preach at Bright Star Missionary Baptist Church In Acres Homes in Houston under the Late C.L. Campbell Sr as well. I used to love all these preachers coming to preach as a boy and had some powerful services with fiery sermons.
