5AM is early, but it's not THAT early. She lost like what, 90 minutes of sleep compared to a normal day for her? 2 hours at most. You can have a completely normal day on 2 fewer hours of sleep. Just go to bed a bit earlier the next day. Considering it was a one time thing that was meant to be a nice gesture for Phil, she could have definitely fought off the sleep temptation a little harder. The trick is to keep standing and move around. Get your heart pumping and keep focused on the task at hand and don't stop moving. You'll feel like normal soon enough. Just gotta get through that first hour or two.

She gets up at 6 am on school days according to one of their joint couch confessionals, so yeah a bit far fetched, but the writers had to come up with something, and it was hilarious when Phil came home from batting practice and was hopeless and cynical.

@sena her kids are all in school and old enough to be left home alone for short periods of time. She only has 3 kids and they constantly talk sbout how they dont have to take care of alex because she is so self sufficient. So she only takes care of 2 kids
