I bought the SoundStream HDHU14+ from Volunteer Audio in late January 2022 and installed same in my 2021 FLHTP with all the VA supplied necessary wiring harnesses, Hertz SX65 Neo speakers and both HD handlebar control module switches. The radio works great and is very nice. I also did Updates 1&2 in May 2022. My only complaint is that the HDHU14+ does not have an internal setting to adjust the volume for the navigation apps connected through Apple Car Play. The voice navigation can not be heard unless at idle (stock exhaust). Adjusting the volume on the iPhone or the in-app setting does nothing. I typically use WAZE. Does this newest version WHD14+ have a separate (internal) setting to adjust the volume on connected navigation apps? Also, has there been any updates to the HDHU.14+ since May 2022?

Volume control of navigation prompts comes from within your phone, try activating Siri and adjust the radio volume up while she is speaking. This will turn up your navigation prompts. If you need more help you always have free tech support at volunteer audio 1-844-30AUDIO

I just ordered this after I saw the video about your November sales. Should be here tomorrow. My '14 Ultra Limited is already stripped down for winter project mods, including this installation. I assume it'll be identical to your previous head unit install videos, but will there be a WHD14+ install video coming up? Also, can you make a video for the installation of the Boyo VTK501HD rear camera on an Ultra Limited (or Street Glide)? While everything is stripped down, I was considering installing it as a backup camera, since it's usually cluttered in my garage, and I have a hard time gauging clearance in my blind spot behind the tour pak.

It is the same process for radio replacement, we may eventually have a video with this radio but until then you can use the existing videos

Have they happened to figure out how to get the guages on a 2019 with a thundermax ECU?

I have been told thundermax is weeks away from releasing a software update to fix their ecm so it sends out gauge data

When, or will, this radio be compatible with the MRR modules? I have an SI but would like to get a brighter screen and built-in wireless Android Auto. The V2 has features that I would never use so I dont want to fork out the $1700 for it.

@@newmoney8128 as updates come out we post videos on how to do those updates, we are waiting one larger update that will encompass date and time with several other changes and additions
