@@ChrisLumNSX I had a intermittent check engine light for rear bank o2 sensor that ignored for too long 😭. Had the light come on right when vtec would hit and put my car into limp mode every time. I was just about 200 miles after my break in period on my new clutch. I went out one morning to get coffee and heard rod knock. 😢

Awesome man! Thanks for taking the time to show the car and the mods off. I really enjoy the channel and the DIYs. I think I peeped different mesh inserts as well, OEM ?
@ChrisLumNSX2 жыл бұрын
Good eye! They're DIY mesh inserts done during previous ownership, meant to look like R mesh.

You should try to change that radiator very soon. The green color means it’s getting ready to crack and spring a leak. Not sure how sensitive the NSX cooling system is. On some cars if the radiator leaks the engine can overheat very easily.

Thx it’s on the list of things to do!

Thanks, I’m pretty happy with the car after 1.5 yrs of ownership. Just need to put a few finishing touches on the mechanical reliability side and then I can do more exciting mods lol

nice videos! just got my nsx a few days ago, just wondering where you got that cellphone holder?

@@ChrisLumNSX Do you have any videos on making it?
@ChrisLumNSX Жыл бұрын
@@DIRTY_ELECTRIC no sorry. You just need to remove your center console which I have a video for. And bolt in the panavise mount. Then double sticky tape the peak design mount onto the panavise mount.

Are you going to change the wing? That’s the one thing I think I would do. Those NSX R wings just look great. ( I think that’s what they’re called)
@ChrisLumNSX2 жыл бұрын
Yes I plan to change the wing. I love the look of the NSXR wing also, but I really don't like to run replica parts on my cars so I will probably find a different wing.

Hey Chris what version bride seat rail did you use for the NSX? Thanks!

Nice video! In regards to your steering wheel shake what ended up being the culprit? My 91 NSX just started having this issue too. I just had new tires put on but I didn’t notice this until a week later and it doesn’t shake before it hits 50-60mph. Im going to have my front wheels checked again, but was wondering what your issue was if it ends up not being the balancing on my wheels and tires. Thanks! 😁
@ChrisLumNSX2 жыл бұрын
High speed shake is typically a wheel imbalance. So if you only started to have a shaking after new tires there’s a good chance they need to be rebalanced. Maybe a wheel weight fell off? For me, the steering rack bushing fixed it (you can checked out my previous video on the install and review).
@Bushcrawler2 жыл бұрын
@@ChrisLumNSX thanks! Yeah! I also had a loose wheel alignment bolt after adjusting that so was worried something more serious was the problem. But when tightening that it only got better but didn’t go away. The rack is solid and none of the sides have play in any direction at all, so I’m hoping it’s the balancing and just a missing weight like you suggested (maybe shook loose from the loose alignment bolt or some shit)🤞🏼 just very frustrating when it happens.

Hi Chris. been looking at stradia iii's myself. just wondering how do they fit? are you happy with them?. thank you
@ChrisLumNSX2 жыл бұрын
They fit perfectly in the nsx. As far as waist size, they take about max 36-38 maybe, so versatile in size. Let me know if you have ang specific questions. I love a good reclining bucket. It’s the best of both worlds.
@Taylor788812 жыл бұрын
@@ChrisLumNSX awesome, thank you for the insight. I agree, reclining buckets are the best and brides too! My nsx is still coming from japan. It has the zeta ii's installed currently but I have always wanted the stradia seats. I thought I would have to go for the stradia ii but it's great to see the iii's fit. Are yours the standard cushion or low cushion? Thank you 🙏
@ChrisLumNSX2 жыл бұрын
The Stradia 3 are very similar to the 3 in dimension except the obvious design changes and the hinge mechanism is stronger now so the fit will be the same between the two. I opted for the standard cushion because the seat sits so low to the floor pan that I wanted some support under my knees. I do not regret it!
@Taylor788812 жыл бұрын
@@ChrisLumNSX thank you so much for your replies haha. Its rare to find a fellow nsx owner with brides rather then recaros haha. One last question (sorry 😅) was it tricky getting them adjusted enough to make the bolsters clear the door when closing it? Do your bolsters touch rhe door at all when closed. Thank you. 😊
@ChrisLumNSX2 жыл бұрын
Please ask as many questions as you want. They clear without any issues just due to their dimensions. No clearance issues whatsoever. I am using bride LR rails.
