I am not part of the L.D.S. church but I really appreciate the idea of Family Home Evening. Things could be so much better in families if they did something like this. Any family could benefit. Thank you for sharing this nice video. Blessings to you and your family.

We aspire to build strong family relationships. Home can be a place where we feel support, safety, and love. God does not want family ties to end when we die. Yesica, thank you for your comment. Matthew 16:19 says "And I will give to you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven. And whatever you shall bind upon Earth, shall be bound in Heaven." In the Bible, Jesus gave the Twelve Apostles the sealing power, or sealing “keys.” Today, marriages are performed in temples by those who carry these keys. This is how families are sealed for time and all eternity. What a great thing to aim for in this day and age regardless of your beliefs! Family time would also benefit the greater community.

Great video! Sometimes we call it family Farm evening because we spend our time straightening out an irrigation line or something!

Amazing the vitriol you get with a search of "mormon" on KZbin.. nothing positive. Part of KZbin's endeavor to marginalize religious people, and Mormons in particular. I'm not of the faith, but I have great respect for wanting to create strong family ties. I wish I had that in my own family.

I am so glad that I’m not married with kids. I don’t care if I won’t be able to become a Mormon god if it turns out that Mormonism is true, you couldn’t pay me to get married and have a family.
