We are Eteuati Ete and Tofiga Fepulea’i. Together we are the Laughing Samoans. The first show we ever did was a show called Laughing With Samoans back in February 2003. That show was such a success we abbreviated and adopted the name - the Laughing Samoans. Since then we've toured a new show every year, playing to packed houses throughout New Zealand, Australia, the Pacific and North America.

My wife's aunty from America came to NZ. She mentioned her nephew was tofiga and that she and his mother were like sisters. Funny thing happened. They had a show in Auckland and on the night I told my wife to ask her aunty to call her "nephew" for some tickets ... One of the best night of my life. I fan girled hard when I met him aftershow pretending like it was nothing. He told my wife's aunty to come around and my eyes lit up but noooo.... She said "another time, maybe tomorrow" which translated to byebye forever 😂
