This video was created by Heather Brown. FanShi was designed by David Tyler and I have been building her or the past 5 years. I waited until she was finished before launching, so that I could start sailing her straight away and enjoy being afloat again.
FanShi is 8m/26ft long and the design name is SibLim (Small Is Beautiful, Less Is More). You can find out more about her by visiting my blog: anniehill.blogspot.co.nz or the JRA website: www.junkrigassociation.org

Hello: I was a little late to following your blog and the build. I've searched high and low through your blog and I'm curious why you chose this design ... specifically shoal draft and lee boards. (I've read about your preference for the Junk rig and to manage your sails and steering from the cabin.) Where do you plan to cruise that makes the shoal draft more desirable? If you've already written about this, please point me in the right direction. Thanks.

Annie congratulations on a job well done and a smooth launch. Your friend that was glad to see no men onboard, I didn’t see her or any other women helping with lines or fenders just men.😈

I love the Pram hood and Double glazed dome you used, I'd like to use a similar set up. Where did you source them?

Pity the underwater hull shape and rudders are not shown more clearly.
